The episode opens with Shanti trying to take Mangal away from the Saxena House. Mangal firmly stops her, stating that she cannot abandon Kusum and Papa Ji, and that staying is her own decision. Shanti warns her that no one in the house truly cares for her and that they won’t support her the next time either. She asks Mangal to remember her words and leaves in frustration.
Mangal reassures Kusum that she won’t go anywhere until Sudesh recovers. Adit then confronts her, accusing her of calling her mother to complain. Mangal denies it, but Adit sarcastically remarks that it’s a relief Sudesh wasn’t wearing his hearing aid—otherwise things would’ve gotten worse. He lashes out at Mangal. She calmly responds that everything her mother said was true—seeing her daughter’s suffering broke her heart. She adds that wearing sindoor and mangalsutra hasn’t been easy for her. Just then, Mangal receives a call and realizes she’s forgotten about an important business meeting.
She rushes to join the meeting. Kapil informs her that her camera is off. Adit, who is nearby, helps her unmute and switch the camera on. Kapil is stunned to see Mangal wearing sindoor and mangalsutra—so much so that he drops his cup and quickly apologizes to the investors. Mangal checks if he’s okay. Kapil regains composure and introduces her to the investors. Mangal begins the presentation and asks Kapil for input on the packaging designs. He defers the decision to her. The meeting ends successfully, and the investors are impressed. However, Kapil remains unsettled by Mangal’s appearance.
Meanwhile, Kusum is lost in thought over Shanti’s hurtful words and accidentally cuts her finger. Mangal rushes over, asking why she didn’t call for her or Kamala. Kusum explains that she was too focused on Sudesh’s recovery and apologizes if she ever hurt Mangal. Mangal reassures her that they both want the same thing—Sudesh’s well-being. She shares her excitement: Sudesh had come out of his room to get water, a positive sign. Kusum agrees and offers thanks to Maata Ji.
Mangal then proposes a bold plan: she’ll fake getting electrocuted in the hall to provoke a reaction from Sudesh. Kusum worries it’s too dangerous, but Mangal assures her she’ll switch off the main fuse beforehand. Unbeknownst to them, Sowmya overhears their plan and secretly decides to sabotage it.
Later, Mangal carries out her plan, while Kusum brings Sudesh into the hall. Just as Mangal is about to step on a live wire, Sudesh, seeing her in danger, suddenly rises from his wheelchair and yells to warn her. Kusum and Mangal are overwhelmed with joy at seeing him stand. However, Mangal unexpectedly receives a mild shock after stepping in water. Startled, she moves aside, and Kusum rushes to help her. Mangal is confused—she had turned off the main power and doesn’t understand how the wire was still live. They both look toward Sudesh, now standing, filled with happiness. Meanwhile, Sowmya is left stunned by the outcome she hadn’t anticipated.
