The episode begins with Karan telling Dadi that since his brother’s wedding took place in their house, all remaining rituals will also be held there. He announces that Jia’s Mu Dikhai ceremony will take place in the house. Jia requests Karan to let Lakshmi help her get ready for the ritual. Karan agrees and asks Lakshmi to assist, and she consents.
Lakshmi helps Jia prepare, but once she leaves the room, Jia applies red color to her face and calls for the family.
Krish arrives and asks Jia what happened. Jia questions Lakshmi about what she applied to her face. Lakshmi insists she only used normal makeup. Jia says she has forgiven Lakshmi, yet Lakshmi still treats her as an enemy. Bhavani accuses Lakshmi, labeling her as Jia’s enemy. Karan asks Lakshmi what she applied, and Lakshmi tells him not to believe Jia, claiming she is only acting. Karan scolds Lakshmi, suggesting she may have used expired cream, and reassures Jia not to worry, promising to call a good skin doctor immediately. Everyone leaves, and Jia later washes her face, feeling relieved.
Later, Lakshmi disguises herself as a makeup artist and applies a facial to Jia. Jia soon feels a burning sensation and asks what’s happening. Lakshmi reveals her identity and tells Jia that since Jia had framed her before, she decided to actually carry out the act this time. Jia rushes to wash her face.
During the Mu Dikhai ceremony, Dadi gifts a pearl necklace to Lakshmi as her daughter-in-law.
Jia, plotting mischief, bribes a waiter to spill juice on Dadi, who goes to the washroom. Meanwhile, Jia secretly plants a small bomb in the pearl necklace.
Later, Dadi asks Karan to put the necklace around Lakshmi’s neck. Jia imagines Lakshmi’s face burning in the blast so that no one would want to look at her. She envisions locking Lakshmi in a room and the explosion harming her, but Krish snaps her out of her trance.
The guests ask Lakshmi what gift she will give Jia to match the pearl necklace. Lakshmi announces that she will gift the same pearl necklace to Jia.
Lakshmi hugs Jia and silently thinks that she had tried to harm her with the necklace before, but now it could backfire on Jia. Jia tries to return the necklace, but Lakshmi stops her. The women ask Jia to sing, but she claims she is unwell and attempts to leave. Lakshmi insists, saying everyone knows Jia sings beautifully. Jia starts singing “Bole Choodiyan” but panics when she notices the necklace around her neck.
In fear, Jia throws the necklace away, shouting for everyone to escape as it’s about to explode. The family is shocked. Karan thinks Jia is joking and questions why she threw Lakshmi’s gift. Jia wonders why the blast didn’t occur.
Lakshmi explains to Bhavani and Dadi that she had extended a hand of friendship toward Jia, but it was rejected. She recalls that she had defused the bomb in the necklace earlier. Dadi tells Jia that Lakshmi’s insult cannot be tolerated and orders her to apologize. Jia apologizes, claiming she threw the necklace because it caused itching.
Lakshmi accepts the apology, hugs Jia, and silently questions how it felt to be humiliated.
