The episode begins with Mannat lost in thoughts about the case. Vikrant reassures her that they will fight and win it together. Later, while Mannat is removing the Janmashtami decorations, Vikrant steps in to help. Neetu and Kiran notice them together. Neetu complains that nothing is going right in the house—yesterday’s puja was interrupted—and blames Mannat, calling her a symbol of sin. Kiran adds that she doesn’t know how long she has to witness all this. Vikrant wants to react, but Mannat stops him and walks away.
Unable to hold back, Vikrant tells Neetu that she has crossed all limits. He questions if she would treat him the same way had he been born into another family. He reminds her that she has no right to insult Mannat. His mother always taught him to stand up for what’s right, and since Mannat is right, he will support her—always. Neetu is left heartbroken.
Later, Vikrant meets Mannat in the storeroom. Mannat tells him she is used to such taunts and no longer lets them affect her, especially because he is with her. But Vikrant demands an answer—why is she distancing herself from him? Is Mallika the reason? He assures her that he isn’t leaving Mallika for her sake, but because of Mallika’s wrongdoings. Expressing his love, he asks for her reply. Mannat tries to avoid answering, but Vikrant insists—saying if she doesn’t give him an answer, he will jump off the terrace. Shocked, Mannat covers his mouth. Vikrant presses her again, handing her a necklace and asking her to wear it as her answer. Mannat blushes.
Just then, Mallika spots them together and feels jealous. Aishwarya quickly covers her mouth and drags her away. Mallika complains that Aishwarya is only doing this to protect Mannat and Vikrant’s privacy.
Aishwarya scolds her, calling her brainless. She reminds Mallika that she has been trying to help her. But Mallika refuses to believe her anymore, saying she won’t be fooled again. Aishwarya then challenges her to think—if Mannat truly wanted Vikrant, why hasn’t she exposed Mallika yet for sending goons to molest her? Mannat didn’t reveal the truth because she doesn’t want to hurt her mother further, still believing she is a victim. But Mallika dismisses her words, saying she doesn’t need anyone’s help and will handle things herself. Soon, she notices her burnt wedding dupatta.
Meanwhile, Mannat is lost in thoughts about Vikrant’s wife. Shruthi arrives and Mannat lays her head in her lap. Shruthi spots the necklace Vikrant gave her and teases her, asking her to wear it. Mannat confesses she doesn’t know what to do—Vikrant is already married, and Mallika is her sister. Shruthi advises her, reminding her that Vikrant is her true love. That’s why Mallika tried countless times to separate them, but Vikrant always stood by her. Shruthi warns that Mallika is now determined to kill Vikrant.
