The episode begins with Shanaya and Chirag arguing over which side of the room each of them should sleep on. Watching them, Rashi tells Pushpa that she has locked two storms inside one room and has no idea what they might do. Pushpa confidently replies that they will eventually find a solution. When Ashwin asks why she has switched off the lights, Pushpa reveals that she has placed a candle and a box of matchsticks on opposite sides of the room. This means each of them will have only one of the two items, and they will have to work together to light the candle.
Soon, Shanaya finds the matchsticks while Chirag discovers the candle. Instead of cooperating, the two immediately start arguing. At that moment, Pushpa hears a knock at the door. She opens it to find Bapodhara, who asks her to step outside as he wants to discuss something important. Pushpa agrees and leaves with him.
Inside the room, Shanaya finally lights a matchstick and uses it to light the candle that Chirag holds out to her. After placing the candle down, Chirag heads towards the washroom, but Shanaya stops him, reminding him that he had drawn a line between their sides of the room and promised not to cross it. Meanwhile, Ashwin tells Rashi that he is unsure whether Pushpa’s plan will actually work, as Shanaya and Chirag continue to quarrel over every little thing.
Outside, Bapodhara tells Pushpa that Manva wants to leave after everything that happened during Shanaya’s Muh Dikhai ceremony. He admits that Manva’s presence made him feel as though Prathna had returned to his home, and he cannot bear the thought of losing his daughter once again. When Pushpa asks how she can help, Bapodhara explains that Manva said she would stay only if she had a reason to do so. He hopes that Chirag’s love can become that reason.
Back inside, Chirag tells Shanaya not to sleep on the bed, which leads to another argument. Chirag insists that he urgently needs to use the washroom. Shanaya agrees only if he gives her the bed. Left with no choice, Chirag accepts her condition and begins shouting for someone to open the door because he desperately needs to use the washroom, but no one comes to help.
The next morning, Shanaya and Chirag wake up and knock on the door. Pushpa opens it, and the two assure her that they will no longer trouble the family with their constant fights and will try to live peacefully. Pushpa asks them to make the promise in front of Prathna’s photograph, and they do so. Just then, they notice that the diya is about to go out and instinctively protect its flame with their hands, preventing it from being extinguished.
Elsewhere, Dilip visits Kadambari in jail. Kadambari offers to help him financially, but Dilip makes it clear that his only condition is that she must never harm his family. He agrees to testify in her favour only if she promises to stay away from Pushpa and the rest of his family. Kadambari remarks that Pushpa has left him deeply hurt and that the pain has made him think differently. Dilip firmly repeats his condition, and Kadambari finally agrees to leave Pushpa and her family alone. Dilip warns her that if she breaks her promise, he will expose her. With that, the two strike a deal.
Later, Pushpa asks Shanaya to prepare food for the family before leaving for court.
In the kitchen, Shanaya struggles to manage the cooking. Deepti helps her by pointing out which containers hold the different pulses. Although Shanaya asks her for further assistance, Deepti reminds her that Pushpa has entrusted this responsibility to her alone. Even so, Deepti patiently explains the cooking process so Shanaya can complete the meal herself.
Meanwhile, Dilip signs the loan documents and learns that his loan is expected to be approved within the next two days.
After finishing the cooking, Shanaya is completely exhausted from all the hard work.
