The episode begins with the neighbors telling Aparajita that they are fortunate to be invited to the puja at the Bharadwaj house. Malti asks everyone to get into the van and notices Ramgopal looking upset. When she asks what is wrong, Ramgopal says Aparajita wants to live life on her own terms, yet they are arranging her engagement without asking her. He adds that Aparajita never wanted to live in any man’s shadow.
Malti replies that Rakshit will always stand beside Aparajita, not treat her like a shadow. She insists that Aparajita will never find a better partner than Rakshit. Everyone leaves, while Aparajita wonders why Sudha has invited them all.
Soon, Sudha warmly welcomes the guests. Aparajita takes her blessings, and Sudha says they have gathered for a special reason. Curious, Aparajita asks what it is.
Sudha surprises everyone by announcing Rakshit and Aparajita’s engagement. Aparajita is left stunned. Sudha admits she wanted to surprise them both and says Rakshit loves Aparajita unconditionally. She also regrets separating them in the past and asks Aparajita if she will accept the engagement.
Aparajita says Sudha should have asked for her opinion before making such a big decision. She then says that Rakshit is the only one she truly loves now.
Rakshit is overjoyed and asks if she really means it. Aparajita nods, everyone applauds, and the two exchange rings. Just then, the scene is revealed to be Rakshit’s dream.
Rakshit wakes up smiling and jokes that the trailer was perfect, but the heroine still doesn’t know she is the heroine. He tries calling Aparajita, but she does not answer.
Meanwhile, Sudha tells the servants to hurry because the priest will arrive soon. She receives the engagement rings as Rakshit walks in. Sudha tells him to get ready quickly before leaving. Mohit notices Rakshit’s nervous expression.
Rakshit admits he feels scared, excited, and anxious all at once. Mohit laughs and tells him to get dressed first.
Later, Sudha welcomes Aparajita and her family. Sheela becomes irritated on seeing them. Malti apologizes to Sudha for everything that happened in the past, but Sudha asks her to forget it.
Sudha also apologizes to Aparajita for throwing her out of the house earlier. Aparajita humbly says there is no need to apologize and takes Sudha’s blessings.
Upstairs, Rakshit struggles to choose a kurta. He imagines Aparajita helping him pick one. In his dream, she says they are happily married with two children.
Rakshit asks if she is happy. Aparajita replies that she is happy because he is with her. As Rakshit hugs her, he suddenly realizes he is actually hugging Mohit.
Mohit snaps him out of his daydream and reminds him that Aparajita’s family has already arrived. Rakshit rushes downstairs and asks Aparajita if he can speak with her.
Aparajita points out that he is still wearing only a towel. Embarrassed, Rakshit quickly runs back to his room.
Meanwhile, Aparajita notices Vivaan and Aradhya smiling at each other. She then smells something burning and heads to the kitchen. Vivaan asks Aradhya about his watch, but she cleverly changes the subject.
In the kitchen, Aparajita finds Arvind accidentally burning the offering. He explains that he prepares it every year, but this time it got burnt because the helper was absent.
Aparajita offers to help. Arvind smiles and says she can be the chef while he becomes her assistant. As Aparajita starts cooking, Rakshit quietly joins her and lends a hand.
Arvind notices the two working together. Moments later, Aparajita finally notices Rakshit beside her and is startled. As she nearly loses her balance, Rakshit quickly catches her in his arms.
