The next morning, the entire Deshmukh family is suddenly awakened by Mr Pandey. He asks everyone to get ready quickly for an important activity. The family is surprised by the sudden instructions. Soon, Shakuntala arrives at the Deshmukh house before the scheduled time, impressing Mr Subedar with her punctuality.

Mr Subedar then hands out brooms and brushes and instructs everyone to clean the surrounding area. The family is shocked because they had not expected cleaning to be part of their patriotic mission. Roshni, Renuka and Tejas become irritated by the task and struggle to accept the unusual responsibility.
Sayali, however, takes the activity positively. She forms a team with the children and encourages them to participate enthusiastically. Paresh is appointed as the cleanliness inspector and is asked to monitor everyone’s performance.
The cleanliness drive begins, with every family member trying to complete the task. Tejas struggles with even the simplest work and barely manages to contribute. Shakuntala records the entire activity, while Paresh awards points based on everyone’s performance. The cleanliness drive soon turns into a fun competition.
Meanwhile, Sachin and Sayali notice some neighbours arguing. Sachin comes up with an idea to resolve the dispute through a small play. Although several family members initially hesitate to take on another responsibility, they eventually agree to participate.
The family then receives another challenge. Everyone has to portray a freedom fighter or a character connected with India’s struggle for independence. Riya, Akash and Tejas choose British characters, while Sachin takes on the role of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi.
The family is instructed to arrange proper costumes and makeup before the performance. After several rehearsals, everyone participates in the local Independence Day flag-hoisting ceremony.
