The episode begins with Soumya telling Jeet that she wants a life partner who is just like her father.
Instead of taking her words seriously, Jeet starts making fun of Soumya’s father.
Annoyed by his behavior, Soumya asks Jeet to go to sleep. She has to wake up early the next morning to prepare for the Janmashtami celebration.
The next day, Soumya gets busy with the preparations. She starts making a beautiful Rangoli for the Janmashtami function.
While she is focused on her artwork, a group of boys begins disturbing her.
Ridhan notices what is happening and immediately yells at the students for troubling Soumya.
He assures Soumya that she does not need to worry because he will make sure that she remains safe and protected.
Soumya soon learns that Ridhan already knows about her past.
Meanwhile, Sanjiv notices Ridhan talking to Soumya and becomes curious about their conversation.
Soumya tells Ridhan that she is perfectly fine now. She does not want him to feel sorry for her because of what happened in her past.
She makes it clear that if Ridhan genuinely wants to see her happy, he should support her hockey dreams instead of worrying about her past.
Ridhan understands her feelings. He tells Soumya that he wants her to keep shining brightly, just like the beautiful colours around her.
Soumya then returns to her Rangoli.
However, she soon realizes that the Janmashtami show is going to begin in just ten minutes, and she still has a lot of work left.
Seeing Soumya struggling to finish the Rangoli on time, Jeet comes forward to help her.
He tells her that he has helped his Nani make Rangoli before. He asks Soumya to guide him so they can complete it before the function begins.
Soumya quietly starts recording Jeet while he works on the Rangoli. She clearly enjoys watching him help her.
Meanwhile, Sanjiv questions Ridhan about his decision to start a girls’ hockey team in the college.

Later, Jeet tells Soumya that his Nani always used to say that an artist should leave their signature on their painting.
He asks Soumya to put her signature on the Rangoli once she finishes it.
Soon, Nilu arrives and notices the beautiful Rangoli made by Soumya.
Jeet tells Nilu that Ridhan also helped Soumya complete the Rangoli.
Nilu is surprised to hear Ridhan’s name and indirectly taunts Jeet about the situation.

Later, Madhu calls Soumya and gives her some important news.
She tells Soumya that they have received a marriage proposal from a good family. She also says that her father is extremely happy about the proposal.
Madhu reveals that the prospective groom works in a bank and that he and his family are coming to meet Soumya.
Soumya says that she is happy because her father is happy.

At home, Anup starts making arrangements to welcome the guests.

Anup soon notices the pink dupatta in Jeet’s hand and is shocked to discover what has happened.
The situation turns into another hilarious argument when Anup calls Jeet’s bike a “khatara.”
Jeet immediately retaliates by calling Anup’s scooter a “khatara” as well.
Anup gets offended and tells Jeet not to call his scooter a khatara.
Madhu quickly steps in and tries to calm them down before their argument gets worse.
Anup then becomes worried about the upcoming meeting.
He asks Madhu what the prospective groom’s family will think if they see Soumya’s dupatta in Jeet’s hands.
He strictly tells Madhu that he does not want any mistakes from their side because he wants everything to go smoothly.
