The episode begins with Myra worrying about missing the bus and lying to her parents. Kabir notices that she is crying and asks her what happened. Myra admits that she is scared her lie will disappoint her parents. Kabir advises her to simply tell them the truth, but Myra says her parents will not be able to handle it.
Kabir tells Myra to do whatever she wants and lets him sing. Myra becomes irritated with him. Kabir starts singing, and Myra completes the song. The two soon begin arguing. Myra asks Kabir to get out of the cab, but Kabir says he will pay his share of the fare. Myra tells him that he can pay after they reach Udaipur. Kabir asks her to stay quiet, and when Myra questions him, he calls her rude, loud and a crybaby. Myra reminds him that she is paying for the cab and can do whatever she wants.
Meanwhile, Vidya asks Madhav to contribute his share towards the household expenses. She soon realizes that Madhav does not have enough money. Vidya suggests that he seek financial help from Arman and Abhira, but Madhav refuses. He decides to arrange the money himself rather than depend on Abhira and Arman.
During the journey, Myra asks Kabir whether they are travelling on the correct route. She becomes frightened when they enter a jungle. Suddenly, she spots a snake and screams, causing Kabir to get hurt. Myra immediately asks the driver to speed up. She and Kabir then exchange uncomfortable looks.
Back at home, Abhira informs Kaveri that she has submitted the judge nominee form. Kaveri blesses her, and Abhira asks whether she is happy with her decision.
Sanjay questions Abhira about treating the Poddar firm so casually. He asks her to think about the family as well as the future of the firm. Sanjay also questions Kaveri for supporting Abhira’s decision. Kaveri explains that she cannot stop Abhira from pursuing her dream.
Sanjay clarifies that he is not against Abhira’s dream but wants her to understand the responsibilities involved. Arman agrees that Sanjay’s concerns are valid, but he firmly says that they cannot stop Abhira from becoming a judge.
Later, Myra returns home. Arman learns that she travelled in a cab with a boy. The Poddars warmly welcome Myra, and Arman asks whether she has told everyone the complete truth. Myra admits that she boarded a cab but avoids revealing that she shared it with a boy.
Arman becomes suspicious and later tells Abhira about Myra travelling with a boy and hiding the truth. Abhira tries to explain the situation, but Arman refuses to listen to anything she has to say regarding Myra.
Meanwhile, Madhav discovers that his pension has been transferred to a fraudulent account. He decides to recover his pension and catch the person responsible. Abhira learns about the problem and offers to help Madhav financially.
Madhav refuses to accept her money. Abhira then asks Kaveri why parents often hesitate to accept help from their children. Kaveri explains that Madhav has always valued his self-respect and does not want to compromise it. She adds that as parents grow older, they sometimes fear becoming dependent on their children. Kaveri supports Madhav’s decision.
The Poddars then begin preparations for the Shravan celebrations. Abhira asks Myra to keep the fast as well. Kaveri reveals that Madhav is also fasting. Manisha says Madhav is trying to become the best husband and is helping Kaveri with the household responsibilities.
Madhav says that he wants to contribute to the family in whatever way he can. Abhira understands the pain behind his words and realizes how important his independence is to him.
Meanwhile, the Damanis also prepare for the Shravan festival. Nandani becomes worried when she realizes that Kabir is missing. Raghu says Kabir is probably avoiding the office. Nandani, however, knows Kabir well and says that he would never willingly miss the veneration of Lord Shiva.
Back with the Poddars, Myra finally starts telling the family about sharing a cab with a boy. However, the moment she notices Arman standing nearby, she changes the subject. Abhira immediately becomes concerned, while Arman’s suspicion about Myra continues to grow.
