The episode opens with Raghuveer speaking to a photo of Antara. He shares that Veda has finally found a heart donor, and once her surgery is complete, he plans to tell her the truth about Lakshmi. He adds that Lakshmi will also find happiness today, as she’s about to reunite with Karthik and reclaim her life. As Raghuveer steps out of the room, he remains unaware that Jia has overheard his entire conversation. Determined, Jia decides to leave the house immediately.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi borrows Veda’s phone in an attempt to find news about Jia’s engagement but is unable to access anything. Veda explains that her father has restricted the phone’s content based on her eligibility. Realizing Raghuveer has set parental controls, Lakshmi becomes frustrated and wonders how she’ll find out who Jia is engaged to. She quietly leaves the room, lost in thought.
Just as Jia is about to sneak out, Raghuveer catches her—having seen her reflection in a mirror earlier. He confronts her sharply, demanding to know why she entered his house without permission and threatening to file a trespassing case. Jia calmly responds that she came seeking answers. She accuses him of hiding Lakshmi while the world believes she’s dead, and warns she could file a case against him for not informing Karthik. Raghuveer defends himself, insisting that Lakshmi is an adult capable of making her own choices.
Jia then proposes a manipulative deal. She points out that Lakshmi and his late wife Antara look identical, and since Veda believes Lakshmi is her mother, he should let Lakshmi become both his wife and Veda’s mother. In exchange, Jia says, she will keep Karthik. Just then, Lakshmi’s voice calls out from outside. Jia quickly adds that she’s engaged to Karthik and he’s happy with her, urging Raghuveer to accept the arrangement for Veda’s sake.
Infuriated, Raghuveer warns her never to speak Antara’s name again. He declares that no one can replace Antara and that Lakshmi is Karthik’s rightful wife. He then forces Jia to leave through the window. When Lakshmi enters and asks whom he was yelling at, Raghuveer hides the truth, telling her they’re heading to the hospital and suggesting she meet Karthik as well.
Lakshmi brings up her desire to know whom Jia is engaged to and asks Raghuveer to remove the restrictions from her phone. He brushes it off, saying a technician enabled them and that she shouldn’t worry. Internally, Raghuveer is convinced that Karthik would never willingly agree to an engagement with Jia and believes she must have pressured him. He hopes that Lakshmi and Karthik’s meeting will bring clarity.
Elsewhere, Jia seethes with frustration and vows not to let Lakshmi and Karthik reunite.
At home, Veda notices Lakshmi’s sadness and asks if she’s not coming to the hospital. Seeing her in tears, Veda gently tells her to rest and hands her the new phone Raghuveer bought. Veda then leaves with Raghuveer. Alone, Lakshmi prays for Veda’s recovery and steels herself emotionally to meet Karthik.
At the same time, Karthik notices a blooming rose in his garden, the very one Lakshmi had planted. Overcome with emotion, he plucks it and tucks it into his shirt pocket. Meanwhile, Lakshmi arrives at Karthik’s house and calls out to him, but he doesn’t hear her and drives away. Determined, she hires an auto and follows his car.
Karthik stops at a roadside vendor, where a young girl sells him jasmine flowers. Just as Lakshmi rushes toward him, she notices a hoarding nearby—an engagement poster featuring Karthik and Jia. Shocked and heartbroken, she freezes, wondering if Karthik has truly moved on and left her behind.
