The episode opens with Lakshmi carefully placing a pillow beside Veda to make it seem like she’s still sleeping, then silently slipping out of the room through the window.
A little later, Raghuveer checks on Veda and immediately realizes Lakshmi is gone. Sensing where she might have gone, he assumes she’s headed to meet Karthik. He quickly tries calling Jia to alert her, but she doesn’t answer. Worried, he thinks to himself, “If Lakshmi and Karthik meet, their misunderstandings might get cleared… and then Veda’s surgery might not happen.”
Meanwhile, Karthik is lost in thought, remembering Raghuveer’s accusations about him and Lakshmi. Jia arrives with wedding card designs for him to choose from. Karthik, clearly frustrated, dismisses all the cards as terrible. Annoyed, Jia snaps at him, telling him not to take out his anger on her, and sarcastically blames Lakshmi’s “second love story” for his mood. When he asks her to leave him alone, Jia coldly reminds him that the entire property is in her name, and warns him that if he misbehaves, his family will suffer. She then demands he clean the card he tossed and walks out.
Lakshmi sneaks into the house to meet Karthik. She watches him sing their song and thinks, “If he’s singing this, he still loves me.” She reaches out to touch his shoulder but pulls back as she hears approaching footsteps—Jia enters the room. Jia smiles to herself and says, “He’s not running anymore. Now I can control him,” unaware Lakshmi is hiding nearby.
Just as Lakshmi tries to leave, a vase accidentally falls and shatters. She hides again. Karthik hears the noise and asks who’s there. Lakshmi panics, trying to escape before anyone finds her. Family members rush in, and Karthik explains someone has entered the house. Just then, a masked man is spotted—Karthik gives chase, throws a knife, but the man escapes without revealing his face.
To create a distraction, Lakshmi throws a stone, then escapes once more through the window. Karthik tells everyone the intruder got away. Nidhi and Sanjana confirm that nothing seems to be stolen. Meanwhile, Jia steps on a ring left behind and instantly realizes it belongs to Lakshmi.
Outside, Lakshmi wonders why every attempt to meet Karthik is being thwarted—and who is behind it all. Suddenly, she hears someone and sees Raghuveer up. He casually says he came to get water and urges her to go back to sleep. She notices he’s limping and begins to suspect something.
Later, Raghuveer is shown tending to a wound on his foot. Hidden nearby, Lakshmi sees this and realizes he was the masked man at Karthik’s house. Shocked, she questions why Raghuveer is trying to keep her from Karthik. When he heads to the bathroom, Lakshmi searches his room and finds the same clothes the intruder wore.
Just then, Raghuveer’s phone rings. Lakshmi hides as he answers a call from Jia. Jia scolds him for not keeping constant watch over Lakshmi. Raghuveer replies, “I didn’t let them meet, so stop scolding me,” and angrily disconnects, throwing the phone. Lakshmi picks it up, sees it was an unknown number, and calls back. Jia answers and taunts her, “Glad you called. Check the message.” Lakshmi reads a threatening message and realizes that Jia and Raghuveer are working together to keep her and Karthik apart. She resolves to confront Raghuveer.
As Raghuveer drives away, Lakshmi wonders where he’s heading so late at night. She decides to re-search his room for more answers. While investigating, she hears a strange noise coming from the cupboard. Just as she tries to move it, Veda suddenly calls out, “Mumma!” In another room, a woman is shown making noise with a spoon.
Lakshmi rushes to Veda, who says, “I didn’t finish my homework. Please help me.” Lakshmi replies, “Let’s recreate the photo tomorrow,” but quietly wonders where she’ll find Antara’s saree for the task. She gives Veda her medicine and recalls Raghuveer once mentioned that Antara’s belongings are still in the house.
As she tells Veda she’ll get the saree, the strange noise from the cupboard echoes again.
The shocking truth is revealed—Antara is alive and is the one making the noise from a hidden room.
