Savi becomes visibly tense as memories of that traumatic day flood back. Sensing her hesitation, Neil gently asks if she knows the full story. Savi explains that she was chasing a criminal who ended up taking Sai hostage. In an attempt to rescue her, Neil was shot. Touched, Neil embraces Savi and expresses how proud he is of her. He admits he had forgotten the dangers her job involves and asks her to promise that she’ll return home safely each day. Though his past is lost, he hopes they can build a beautiful future. Savi promises, and before heading off to her first day at work, reassures him she won’t be late. Neil smiles in agreement.
Later that day, Sai returns home from school and is thrilled to see a surprise setup for a pizza-and-movie night. Neil cheerfully suggests they start before Savi gets home. Sai agrees and goes to change into comfortable clothes. During dinner, Sai suddenly begins to struggle with breathing. At that moment, Savi arrives and urgently asks Neil if the pizza contained olives. Neil confirms it did. Alarmed, Savi reveals that Sai is allergic to olives. She scolds Neil for not checking with her before offering food to Sai and prepares to rush her to the hospital. Fortunately, Neil administers anti-allergy medicine in time but is overwhelmed with guilt for forgetting such an important detail. Disheartened, he leaves the room. Leena silently witnesses the entire scene.
The following day, Savi is shocked to receive a legal notice from Bhagyashree, who is now seeking custody of Sai and Kian. The letter claims that Savi’s new family is unaware of the children’s medical needs and argues that Bhagyashree is better suited to care for them.
