The episode opens with Chandrabhan threatening Editor Laal, warning him to keep Aarti away from the women trafficking case. He sternly says, “If Aarti gets involved, both she and your office will be destroyed.” He reminds Laal of his name—Chandrabhan—and drives off.
Later, Aarti confides in Anjali, revealing that Chandrabhan has been threatening her. She vows to expose him on social media once she gets his photo and end his criminal activities. When Sapna asks who threatened her, Aarti reveals the name: Chandrabhan Thakur. Sapna is visibly shocked.
Deeply worried, Sapna calls Ganesh and urges him to arrange Aarti’s marriage immediately and send her away from the danger. Aarti questions why Sapna is so afraid of Chandrabhan. Holding back tears, Sapna explains that she has already lost one daughter and cannot bear to lose Aarti as well. She decides to fix Aarti’s marriage into the Rajvanshi family and curses those responsible for Anjali’s current state. Ganesh agrees and leaves with Padma to make the arrangements.
Noticing Sapna’s sudden change in behavior, Aarti becomes suspicious and wonders if there’s a deeper secret being hidden from her. She meets with Laal and questions him about Chandrabhan. Laal tells her that Chandrabhan was once a politician, ousted from politics due to corruption, though much about his past remains unclear. He advises Aarti to concentrate on the human trafficking investigation and suggests she travel to Uttar Pradesh, where the case is active. He believes the report will significantly boost their TRP ratings.
Later, Aarti tells her family she needs to take her mother for a medical check-up. Ganesh, Sapna, and Aarti accompany Anjali to the hospital. When the nurse asks if Aarti is their granddaughter, Ganesh says yes—and adds that she was once presumed stillborn. Aarti is stunned and begins to question everything.
As Anjali is taken in for her check-up, Aarti goes with her into the doctor’s cabin. The nurse, who had once saved Aarti during childhood, recognizes her and quietly asks if Aarti still doesn’t know the truth. Ganesh quickly interjects, saying she doesn’t, and pleads with the nurse to keep the secret. The nurse agrees.
Coincidentally, Raghav, Abhay, and Sarika arrive at the same hospital and spot Ganesh and Sapna. When Ganesh questions their presence, Sarika explains that Raghav had chest pain and needed a check-up. Abhay taunts Ganesh, mocking their ability to afford treatment at such a hospital. Ganesh snaps back, but Abhay mocks him again before walking away.
Ganesh silently prays that neither Raghav nor Abhay notices Aarti. Raghav then tells Ganesh that Anjali is merely surviving, not truly living, and says her life has lost all meaning.
