The episode begins with Pradeep telling Aarti that they should cut the cake to celebrate her birthday. However, Aarti refuses. Ganesh asks her why, and she explains that the only thing she knows about this day is that her father died on it. She confesses that she has no idea who her father was or which family she truly belongs to, and whenever she asks about him, no one gives her any answers.
Ganesh gently urges her to cut the cake, reminding her that she will be leaving after her marriage. Inwardly, he apologizes, thinking that if he ever reveals the truth to her, she might return to the Rajput family — and they could end up killing her. After some hesitation, Aarti agrees and cuts the cake. She offers the first piece to Anjali.
Later, Laal calls Aarti, asking why she hasn’t reached the railway station yet. He informs her that her ticket to Uttar Pradesh has already been booked. Aarti agrees to go.
Ganesh, curious, asks where she’s heading. Aarti tells him she’s on her way to expose a women trafficking gang. Alarmed, Ganesh warns her against getting involved, saying it could be dangerous. But Aarti confidently assures him that nothing will happen to her and leaves.
Elsewhere, ACP Pankaj visits Laal and informs him about a human trafficking racket where women are lured with false promises of marriage and then sold. He says a girl from this office had investigated the case, and he wants to speak with her. Laal lies and tells him that she’s out of town on an assignment. Pankaj asks him to let her know that ACP Pankaj came looking for her, and then he leaves.
Aarti later arrives at Laal’s office. Laal asks why she’s there and if she met ACP Pankaj. Aarti says she didn’t. He then hands her the train ticket and insists she leave. Aarti quietly agrees and walks away. Moments later, Laal receives a call revealing that Uday Rajyavanshi and Pratap Rajyavanshi are the key figures behind the trafficking operation.
Meanwhile, Ved Rajyavanshi’s grandfather informs him that his marriage has been arranged. Ved, frustrated, asks if he has to continue pretending to go through another marriage. His grandfather confirms coldly. Ved pleads with him to end this so-called “business,” but his grandfather harshly rebukes him, boasting that no one in the entire district dares to question him. He then calls for Sonal and instructs her to help Ved speak with his fiancée. Sonal agrees.
The grandfather then cruelly accuses Ved of trying to cleanse his mother’s tarnished name, calling her a woman of low character. Ved loses his temper and yells back. Unfazed, the grandfather reminds him of the brutal fate of his mother — how her head and body were found in separate locations — and mocks her memory with contempt.
At the same time, Aarti is about to board her train. Just then, Sonal calls her and says her fiancé wants to speak with her. She hands the phone to Ved and urges him to talk to Aarti.
