In today’s episode, Bharti tells Anupama to let go of her leg, complaining about the pain. Anupama encourages her to ignore the discomfort and focus on Shahrukh Khan instead. Bharti, puzzled, asks how that’s possible. Anupama playfully claims that Shahrukh Khan once danced with her. Surprised, Bharti listens on as Anupama cleverly uses her words to motivate Bharti to continue the exercise. Bharti asks where Anupama learned such tactics, and Anupama simply replies, “I’m a mother.”
Jaspreet worries about what they’ll do if Rita doesn’t show up. Anupama confidently says that Rita’s mother-in-law will bring her herself and tells Bharti and Preet to just wait and watch.
Elsewhere, Pakhi is excited as she tells Leela about participating in a dance competition. Leela dismisses it, saying professionals will be competing. Pakhi replies that Rahi is training them. Leela skeptically adds that Rahi isn’t like Anupama and wonders if Anupama will also take part. Pakhi urges her to think positively. Prarthana comments that at least someone is chasing their dreams. Leela shifts the topic and tells Prarthana to increase the rent since she’s using the AC more. Prarthana agrees. Leela is surprised that Prarthana chose to stay instead of moving out. She begins to question how she’ll manage to raise Prarthana’s child without Anupama, but then resolves not to think about her—what if Anupama returns?
Meanwhile, Manohar boosts the morale of Anupama and the other chawl women, encouraging them about the dance competition and reminding them it’s not just about winning or losing. He indirectly brings up Rahi, which makes Anupama wonder if she might end up competing against her. Manohar tells them to choose a name for their team. Anupama suggests “Dancing Ranis,” explaining that every woman is a queen in her own world. Manohar brings up Rita again, prompting Anupama to come up with a plan.
To bring Rita to practice, Anupama spreads a rumor that Sarita is possessed. Hearing this, Rita and her mother-in-law decide to visit Sarita. When they arrive, Jaspreet asks Rita’s mother-in-law to pay if she wants to meet Sarita. The woman agrees and asks Sarita whether her son will get a job. Sarita rebukes her, saying she’s mistreating her daughter-in-law while dreaming of a better future. Moved by Sarita’s words, the mother-in-law agrees to let Rita join the dance. Rita is thrilled, and the rest of the group rejoices.
However, Anupama feels uneasy about using superstition to manipulate Rita’s mother-in-law. She asks Jaspreet to return the money they took under false pretenses.
