The episode begins with Sundar telling Rishi’s family that he’s an all-rounder. Abhimanyu asks him to make tea, but Phool stops him, saying Sundar isn’t allowed in the kitchen and she’ll do it. Indumati insists Sundar should make it so they can see how he works. Still, Phool firmly says he can’t enter the kitchen. Sundar jokingly tells them to fire Phool, claiming he can handle all the work himself.
Angry, Phool starts hitting Sundar. Rishi’s family steps in to save him. Sundar says he doesn’t want the job anymore. Abhimanyu says he can’t leave. Dadabhai tells Tanushri to show Sundar the kitchen and asks him to prepare tea for him too. He firmly instructs Phool to stay away from the kitchen and focus only on her studies. Phool leaves quietly.
Later, Dadabhai asks Sundar to bring his bag. Putul informs Indumati that Phool is sitting silently in her room. Phool soon arrives with her luggage, saying she has decided to leave. She asks Dadabhai if he can drop her at the bus stand. Tanushri questions if she’s upset because Sundar was hired. Phool replies, “Why would I be angry?”
Dadabhai accuses her of trying to avoid studying and tells her to return to her village. He gives money to Putul to buy a snuffbox and cigarettes. Putul agrees, but Phool questions how she could say yes. Tanushri notes that Dadabhai listens to no one but Phool and takes the luggage from her.
Sundar brings a bag, and Dadabhai asks who will go to the market with him. Sundar volunteers. He and Phool get into an argument. Dadabhai scolds Sundar and says if Phool talks about leaving again, they’ll see his dead body. Phool begs him not to speak that way. Dadabhai hugs her. Phool says she’ll have to leave one day. Dadabhai says that day will never come.
The next day, Dadabhai tells Indumati that Neelu will only attend the wedding because Varun couldn’t get leave. He shares that he went to Putul’s in-laws to deliver Rishi’s wedding card. Abhimanyu asks if he thought about how Putul would feel. Indumati asks if they treated him well. Dadabhai says Shantanu wasn’t there, but the rest of the family was polite. Tanushri comments that they’re just acting and that’s why they didn’t stop Shantanu. Dadabhai changes the subject.
Abhimanyu asks Phool to make a rangoli. Though she has a fever, Phool hides it and agrees. Indumati tells her not to do it if she doesn’t want to, but Phool insists. While she’s making the rangoli, Rishi sees her and tells her to stop. He warns her to stay away from the wedding arrangements. Phool quietly says she won’t cause trouble and walks inside in tears. Tanushri consoles her.
Meanwhile, Aditi arrives to perform a ritual. Arshi compliments her. Aditi then receives a call from an unknown number. The caller, Krishnand, says she doesn’t know him—but he knows her.
