The episode begins with Tantrik Baba attempting to trap Lakshmi’s soul. But Devi Maa, in Lakshmi’s form, teaches him a lesson. Shocked, the Tantrik tells Jia that Lakshmi is not a spirit but Maha Devi Maa herself.
Meanwhile, Karthik and his family return home. He questions Jia about calling Baba. Jia explains that Baba claimed a dark soul resides in Lakshmi. Karthik defends Lakshmi, insisting she is with them and accuses Jia of speaking nonsense. Just then, Lakshmi enters from outside. Jia argues that she is not Lakshmi but a spirit. Karthik sends Baba away and sternly warns Jia, saying, “I am tolerating everything for the baby, but if you cross your limits again, I won’t spare you.” Lakshmi then questions Jia, asking, “Only the dead become souls. Whose soul is haunting you, Jia? Did you kill someone?” Karthik further warns Jia to stay away from such Babas and reminds her that she is only there as a surrogate for his and Lakshmi’s child.
Later, Lakshmi asks Karthik what happened. Karthik tells her she looks different these days, glowing like Durga Maa. Lakshmi replies that since she is a devotee of Durga Maa and Navratri is near, the glow is natural.
Elsewhere, Jia calls Prema and admits their plan has failed. As she begins to explain how Lakshmi exposed them, Devi Maa intervenes, making Jia drop her phone. Terrified on seeing Lakshmi, Jia begs her to leave. Devi Maa forces Jia to slap herself. When Jia looks into the mirror, she sees Maa Durga in Lakshmi’s form. Horrified, Jia realizes it is indeed the goddess, not Lakshmi, and faints in fear.
The next morning, Sanjana tries to wake Jia, who panics as if she has seen a ghost. Jia confesses that Maa Durga came in Lakshmi’s form and wonders if it was only a dream. She asks who put her in bed, but Sanjana says she was in her own room all night. Just then, Lakshmi enters with food. Seeing her, Jia trembles with fear. Lakshmi tells her she is probably weak from not eating and assures she will feel better after a meal. Sanjana agrees. Still haunted, Jia continues to see Maa Durga in Lakshmi’s place. Lakshmi advises her to eat properly for the baby’s health and leaves. Sanjana follows. Left alone, Jia questions whether the events of last night were real or just a dream, vowing to find out the truth.
Later, Lakshmi undergoes treatment at the hospital. An elderly woman pleads with the doctor to save her. The doctor explains that Lakshmi’s condition is critical and she requires blood of a rare group, urging them to find a donor quickly.
Meanwhile, Karthik tells Lakshmi he is leaving for the office. But Devi Maa, in Lakshmi’s form, instructs him to visit Jeevandhan Hospital and donate money. Karthik agrees.
