Sowmya questions Mangal about her next plan now that even her pastry chef has quit. She reminds Mangal that she is uncomfortable using eggs and challenges her on how she expects to prepare a professional three-tier cake without them. Just then, Bhabhiji arrives and asks why Sowmya is standing at Mangal’s counter. Sowmya quickly steps aside, pretending she was only trying to help.
Determined, Mangal tosses the eggs into the dustbin and heads to the pantry. She picks up bananas and other ingredients, beginning to prepare an eggless cake while simultaneously garnishing the kebab. Watching her work, Sowmya becomes anxious and signals Nidhi, who quietly sabotages one of the cake sticks to ruin Mangal’s final presentation.
Soon after, Bhabhiji announces that all contestants must present their dishes within two minutes. Mangal manages to complete everything in time. She sends the kebab with Ritu and carries the three-tier cake herself. But suddenly, the cake slips from her hands and crashes to the floor. Sowmya smirks, certain that Mangal will be unable to recreate the cake in just one minute. Meanwhile, the other contestants leave with their dishes.
Mangal closes her eyes and prays to Maata Rani, refusing to accept defeat. Outside, everyone assumes she has run away after her cake fell. The anchor announces that time is up — but at that very moment, Mangal walks in with a cake. Sowmya is shocked, unable to understand how Mangal managed to prepare another cake so quickly.
Bhabhiji begins tasting the dishes. When she opens Mangal’s entry, she is surprised to find a small cake inside. It is revealed that Mangal used the salvageable parts of the fallen cake to create a smaller, three-layer version. The other contestants laugh, calling it a toy and mocking her, saying she cannot even save her cake, let alone her marriage.
Bhabhiji questions Mangal, who explains that she followed the rules by preparing three flavours and layering them into a small wedding cake, adding that weddings do not always need grand cakes. Bhabhiji agrees, noting that the rules never specified the size or height required. She accepts the cake for judging but warns that this does not guarantee Mangal’s survival in the competition.
After tasting all the dishes, the anchor announces that one contestant will be eliminated. Sowmya eagerly waits for Mangal’s name. The safe contestants are declared, leaving only Mangal and Pallavi. Bhabhiji reveals that although Pallavi’s cake looked perfect, it lacked flavour and was burnt. She emphasizes that taste matters more than presentation and declares Mangal safe. Pallavi is eliminated.
Mangal thanks Bhabhiji wholeheartedly. Bhabhiji advises her to be more alert in the upcoming rounds, reminding her that she survived only because someone else performed worse.
