Jhanak Today Episode 16 April 2026
The episode begins with the host praising Putul’s singing skills. She announces Putul’s performance and calls her onto the stage. Putul walks onto the stage. Tanushri tells Indumati that Putul looks beautiful today, which makes Indumati emotional. Dadabhai asks Abhimanyu why Jhanak is not sitting with them. Abhimanyu replies that Jhanak is unpredictable and asks Dadabhai to focus on Putul’s performance.
Meanwhile, Arya calls Jhanak and informs her that he has reached the venue. He asks her not to inform Putul about his arrival. Jhanak tells him to wait near the gate and goes outside to meet him. Rishi notices this and thinks that Jhanak is desperate to talk to that man.
Jhanak meets Arya and holds his hand. Aditi sees them, and Jhanak also notices Aditi watching them. Aditi wonders who the man is and why Jhanak is holding his hand. Arya asks Jhanak why she looks tense, and she replies that she is just tired. Arya says he will sit alone, and Jhanak agrees. They both go inside. Aditi also goes inside and calls Rishi, who comes and sits beside her. Jhanak notices them, while Rishi thinks Jhanak must be feeling jealous. Aditi tells Rishi that she has something important to tell him but will share it later. She asks why Jhanak is sitting alone. Rishi replies that they are just friends and that Jhanak should not feel uncomfortable sitting with him publicly. Jhanak thinks that Rishi is not even looking at her and is instead sitting beside Aditi.
Putul thanks the guests for attending the event and speaks about the importance of music in her life. Everyone applauds her. She then begins singing. During the performance, Aditi notices Arya and points him out to Rishi. Seeing Arya makes Rishi furious. He asks a man to send Arya outside and then goes outside himself. The man informs Arya that Rishi is waiting for him outside, and Arya goes out. Jhanak notices this and worries that Rishi might insult Arya in anger, so she follows them outside. Tanushri tells Indumati that she does not understand what Jhanak and Rishi are doing. Meanwhile, Putul’s performance ends.
Outside, Arya politely asks Rishi how he is doing, but Rishi scolds him angrily. He says he is not foolish enough to believe Arya and grabs Arya by the collar. Arya asks him to let go, but Rishi slaps him. Arya tells Rishi that he should not have done that and that such behavior does not suit his personality. Rishi slaps him again and asks who Arya is to lecture him. Arya warns that he can go to the police. Rishi tells him to go ahead and also inform the police about how he ruined Putul’s life. Just then, Jhanak arrives and asks Rishi to leave Arya alone. Rishi warns her not to interfere and pushes her aside before continuing to beat Arya.
Jhanak rushes to Putul and tells her everything. Putul and Dritimaan quickly go outside. Dritimaan stops Rishi, saying that Arya might die if he continues. Putul asks Rishi to calm down and says that she will divorce Arya. She urges him to maintain his dignity as a police officer and tells Arya to leave immediately.
Arya tells Putul that he wants to talk to her, but she refuses. Arya says he will leave if that is what she wants. Rishi orders Arya to remove his mask and leave at once. Arya says he is ready to accept punishment. Rishi tries to hit Arya again, but Dritimaan stops him and warns Arya to stay away from Putul and her family. Aditi arrives and thinks that Rishi is being overly possessive about Jhanak. Arya finally leaves.
Later, Dadabhai asks Putul why she left before completing her next song performance. Tanushri also questions her disappearance. Dadabhai says that something must have happened, but no one is telling him the truth. Sanjhbati then says that she knows what happened.
