The episode begins with Mangal confronting Shubhi for withdrawing the case against Aarav. Mangal tells Shubhi that Aarav deserves punishment for what he did to her. Aarav questions Mangal about what wrongdoing he has committed and asks her to stop turning everyone against him. He insists that nothing happened between him and Shubhi.
Adit asks Aarav to tell the truth, while Ishana also urges him to explain what really happened. Aarav tells Ishana that he learned she had come to the competition and wanted to surprise her. He claims that he mistook Shubhi for Ishana and accidentally held her hand. Aarav adds that Mangal arrived there and, without asking any questions, immediately accused him and sent him to jail. He also makes sarcastic remarks about Mangal.
Mangal tells Ishana that Aarav is lying and questions her, asking whether she would hold or hug another man thinking he was Aarav. Ishana remains silent.
Shubhi then tells Mangal that Aarav might have genuinely misunderstood her for Ishana. Ishana argues with Mangal, saying she should have asked Shubhi for the truth before accusing Aarav. She directly asks Shubhi whether Aarav misbehaved with her, but Shubhi remains silent.
Seeing Shubhi’s silence, Ishana becomes convinced that Aarav has done nothing wrong and criticizes Mangal for always misunderstanding him. Kusum intervenes and tells everyone that since Aarav has returned home, they should end the matter.
Gayatri, however, believes that Shubhi deliberately trapped Aarav. Kusum questions Gayatri’s assumption, asking why Shubhi would do such a thing. Gayatri replies that it is because of jealousy, claiming that Ishana has everything while Shubhi has nothing, and makes further remarks about it.
Gayatri attempts to throw Shubhi out of the house, but Mangal stops her. Mangal firmly tells Gayatri that Shubhi has done nothing wrong and takes a strong stand in her support. She declares that Shubhi is her daughter and that this house belongs to her as well. Ishana questions Mangal, asking what about her position. Mangal argues with Ishana in defense of Shubhi, saying that Shubhi only admitted to a misunderstanding for Ishana’s sake. She asks Ishana whether she truly does not understand Shubhi’s nature. Ishana tries to argue back. Gayatri again attempts to force Shubhi out, but Mangal stops her once more, insisting that Shubhi will not go anywhere and that she knows the truth.
Mangal repeats to Gayatri that Shubhi is innocent and continues to stand firmly by her side. She once again emphasizes that Shubhi is her daughter and that the house belongs to her too. Afterward, Mangal takes Shubhi away from the scene.
Later, Shubhi is seen sitting sadly in her room. Mangal comes to her and questions her decision to admit that Aarav might have mistaken her for Ishana. Mangal explains that Aarav is now gaining sympathy from everyone because of her statement. Shubhi asks Mangal what she should have done if Ishana had harmed herself because of the situation. Mangal replies that she would have stopped Ishana and explained the truth to her. She then vows that she will soon expose Aarav and leaves the room.
Mangal later complains to Jairaj about Aarav and insists that they must expose him as soon as possible. Jairaj advises her to wait and reminds her that their larger plan is to break the team of Adit, Sowmya, and Aarav. He assures her that all three of them will be exposed together very soon.
Meanwhile, Adit grabs Aarav by the collar and demands to know whether he misbehaved with Shubhi. Aarav denies the accusation and explains that Shubhi arrived just as he was about to load a consignment. He claims he pulled Shubhi aside to prevent her from seeing it. Adit and Sowmya blame Aarav for the failure of their mission. Aarav promises that such a mistake will never happen again, but Sowmya declares that he will not be included in the next mission. Aarav pleads with Adit to give him another chance, but Adit firmly refuses. Adit and Sowmya then leave the room.
Unbeknownst to them, Mangal and Jairaj overhear their entire conversation through a microchip that Mangal had secretly installed in the room.
