Sairaab Today Episode 22 June 2026
The episode begins with Nayanika announcing that she has decided to move into the hospital quarters so that Indrani can finally have peace. Indrani angrily calls her ungrateful and reminds her that her own family never stood by her. Nayanika calmly responds that Neil left the house to marry someone else, yet she never filed a case against him. She explains that she stayed in the house only because of Baba and Kaka, but now she will apply for accommodation in the hospital quarters. With that, she walks inside.
Meanwhile, Ishaan asks Ena what she discussed with Nayanika. Ena replies that she only spoke to her about his treatment. Ishaan warns her that if he finds out she said anything inappropriate to Nayanika, he will not remain silent. Ena questions what she can do if someone chooses to lie to him. Ishaan firmly states that Nayanika never lies.
The next morning, Nayanika wakes up and realizes that her fever has not subsided. She takes leave from work and learns about a doctors’ seminar in Mumbai that she is required to attend. At the same time, Ishaan’s group plans to explore Kolkata. Ena asks Ishaan if they can go out together if he is free. However, Ishaan says he is not in the mood.
Ena points out that he had no problem spending time with Nayanika but now seems unwilling to go out with her. She tells him that Nayanika will never truly understand him because he is a celebrity while she is just an ordinary woman. Ishaan disagrees and says that Nayanika’s greatest quality is that she treats him like a normal person. He adds that she could have become a very good friend. Hearing this, Ena silently hopes that such a friendship never develops.
Back at home, Baba and Jaya urge Nayanika to rest. Kaka also advises her to take care of herself since she is unwell. Rusha checks her temperature by touch and becomes concerned, saying that her body is burning with fever. Rudra also encourages her to rest. Nayanika agrees and prepares to go to her room. Worried that she might faint, Rusha decides to accompany her.
Indrani then comments that if Nayanika moves into the hospital quarters, there will be no one to care for her when she falls sick. Nayanika quietly replies that God will take care of her. As Rusha takes her inside, Jaya asks Indrani why she is so angry with Nayanika. Baba explains that the real reason is Neil’s departure from the house. Indrani insists that Neil is happily living with Angana and claims that the divorce must therefore be Nayanika’s fault. Unbeknownst to them, Nayanika overhears the hurtful remark.
In her room, Rusha helps Nayanika lie down and calls Ujjaini. Nayanika assures her that she will be fine and has already taken her medicine. When Ujjaini arrives and sees her condition, she becomes worried. Nayanika once again tries to reassure her, but Ujjaini points out that she is running a very high fever. Nayanika urges her not to miss college because of her, but Ujjaini refuses to leave her alone.
Just then, Ishaan calls. Ujjaini answers the phone and thanks him for his earlier help. Ishaan informs her that he has a flight scheduled for 6 p.m. Ujjaini jokingly says that if he has some free time, she would like to treat him. Ishaan replies that it will not be possible. She then tells him that she is busy as well because Nayanika is sick with a fever.
Ujjaini asks Ishaan if he would like to speak to Nayanika, but Nayanika declines, saying that she is too tired to talk. Before ending the call, Ujjaini suggests that Ishaan go out to lunch with his friends if he gets the chance. She then disconnects the call.
