The episode begins with Mini revealing to the family that Nayanika wrote the song while Ishaan sang it. Jaya says she has personally seen Nayanika writing and feels proud of her achievement. Indrani adds that this explains why Nayanika came home late and why she told her everything the previous day. Rusha remarks that Indrani probably was not happy after learning the truth, prompting Indrani to scold her. Shreya comments that Nayanika will now start writing songs to earn money and may eventually give up her medical career. Romeo objects to their remarks, saying that instead of criticizing her, they should be proud of Nayanika’s accomplishment.
Meanwhile, Ishaan realizes that he cannot leave without seeing Nayanika one last time before heading to the airport. He arrives at her house, surprising everyone. Ujjaini welcomes him and comments on his unexpected visit. Ishaan explains that he wanted to meet Nayanika before leaving for the airport. Indrani encourages him to go and see her, and Ujjaini leads him to Nayanika’s room.
Nayanika is startled to find Ishaan standing in her room. He presents her with a bouquet and asks how she is feeling. Nayanika replies that she is fine. However, Ishaan points out that she does not look well and suggests consulting a specialist. Just then, Rusha enters with a glass of juice for him. Ujjaini jokingly asks what would happen if Nayanika were to faint. Nayanika responds that she is not going to die anytime soon, prompting Ujjaini to ask her not to speak that way. Ishaan then says he would like to discuss the song with Nayanika in private, and the others leave the room.
Once alone, Nayanika asks Ishaan what he wants to discuss regarding the song. She tells him that she is grateful he sang her lyrics and reminds him that she has already thanked him for it. She also says that she no longer wishes to write songs and urges him not to miss his flight. Ishaan explains that lyricists are paid for their work and asks her to sign the contract. Nayanika refuses, saying that she did not write those lyrics for money.
Ishaan tells her that he understands and also knows the real reason she wrote them. He admits that the time they spent together was genuine and meaningful to him and that he does not want to forget those moments. Nayanika then asks whether Ena did not accompany him. Confused, Ishaan asks why Ena would come with him and wants to know what Ena told her. Instead of answering, Nayanika asks him to leave.
Before going, Ishaan tells Nayanika to take care of herself. He admits that he does not want to leave her in such a condition. Nayanika reminds him that she is a divorced, middle-aged woman with a 19-year-old daughter. Ishaan responds that the soul has no age and that she is allowing herself to be defined by labels created by society. He says that every individual has their own identity. Ishaan gently holds her hand, but Nayanika withdraws it and tells him to take care of himself. Before leaving, Ishaan reminds her that she will always have a friend in him. As he walks away, the title song plays in the background. Left alone, Nayanika convinces herself that she does not need anyone and that Ishaan can be happy with Ena. Overwhelmed with emotion, she breaks down in tears.
Later, Ishaan confronts Ena and asks what she told Nayanika. Ena admits that she told Nayanika that she was Ishaan’s girlfriend. Angered by her actions, Ishaan warns her not to play with his reputation.
Meanwhile, Nayanika’s parents arrive to meet her. Shreya informs them that Ishaan had come to visit Nayanika. Rusha clarifies that he had come to discuss the contract. However, Shreya points out that Ishaan could have easily sent someone else for that purpose. She remarks that his behavior toward Nayanika does not seem ordinary. According to her, such gestures would be understandable if they were directed toward someone like Ujjaini or Mini, but Nayanika is not a young girl. Hearing this, Nayanika firmly asks Shreya to stop.
