Aparajita admits that Malti was right in saying that single women are not given the respect they deserve. Rakshit tries to comfort her, reminding her that she is not alone and that he is always there for her. However, Aparajita points out that this, too, creates problems because people will never understand that they are simply friends. Determined to handle things herself, she asks Rakshit to leave and says that she will find a house on her own. Before leaving, Rakshit requests the broker to show Aparajita a property whose owner is willing to rent it to a single woman.
Elsewhere, Vivaan tells Mohit about how Rakshit celebrated his birthday with Aparajita. He reveals that Ira witnessed everything but admits that he still does not know whether Aparajita has accepted Rakshit’s feelings or not.
Meanwhile, Aparajita visits a potential house, but the landlady unexpectedly demands a higher security deposit. Aparajita explains that she cannot afford such a large amount. The broker informs her that he has already shown her all the available properties for the day and leaves. Soon after, the landlady goes inside to attend to her son. Taking advantage of the situation, her husband approaches Aparajita and suggests that he can reduce the deposit if she agrees to take care of him. When the wife returns, Aparajita immediately tells her what happened. However, the husband accuses Aparajita of lying. The wife refuses to believe Aparajita and instead scolds her before taking her husband inside.
Malti and Ramgopal witness the entire incident. Aparajita notices them standing nearby. Malti reminds her that she had already warned her that society often takes advantage of single women. After saying this, she leaves. Ramgopal, however, sympathizes with Aparajita. He tells her that he is proud of her for fighting for her self-respect, but it pains him to see her suffering. He urges her to return with him and says that he is even willing to plead with Malti on her behalf. Aparajita refuses, explaining that returning home would mean going back to Lalit, and she is not prepared to do that.
Elsewhere, Aradhya becomes concerned about the dark circles under her eyes. She asks Rohan to buy her a cream, but he says he does not have enough money at the moment and promises to get it for her the next day. Disappointed, Aradhya ends the call. Shortly afterward, she receives a parcel from Vivaan and notices that it contains a mobile phone cover.
Later, at the office, Rakshit offers Aparajita some almonds and apologizes for not following up with her about the housing situation. He reminds her that he had suggested she stay at his house, which is close to the office, and points out that many employees receive help from their workplace when needed. Aparajita then shares some good news—she has already found a place to stay. She explains that her former teacher, Padma, has offered her a room in her house. A short while later, Rakshit and Reva visit Aparajita at her new home. Surprised to see them, Aparajita asks why they have come. Rakshit claims that Reva wanted to see the new house, but Reva immediately exposes his excuse and reveals that Rakshit actually came to give Aparajita a gift. He presents her with a nameplate. When Rashmi notices that there is no surname on it, Rakshit explains that Aparajita does not need a surname to define her because she has built her own identity.
The group then steps inside the house. Looking around, Reva jokingly comments that it resembles a storeroom. Aparajita smiles and says that despite its condition, it is her own home, and she will gradually clean and organize it. Moved by her determination, everyone joins in to help her tidy the place.
