The episode begins with Neil asking Nayanika about her health and the issues she has been facing. Nayanika assures him that it is nothing serious. Indrani encourages her to tell Neil about the medical tests since he is a doctor. However, Nayanika reminds her that she is a doctor as well and insists that the tests are routine. She then excuses herself and goes inside.
Neil remains unconvinced and remarks that Nayanika does not seem well. Baba immediately questions whether Neil believes he still has the right to ask such personal questions about her.
Elsewhere, Shirsho asks Ujjaini whether she trusts him. Ujjaini admits that she is unsure. Shirsho tells her that he is willing to wait and suggests that they remain friends until she feels comfortable. He then asks why Nayanika never remarried.
Ujjaini explains that Nayanika is not the kind of person who would easily move on. She also admits that she does not want anyone else entering her mother’s life because she is possessive about her. Shirsho gently points out that everyone deserves happiness and asks what would happen if someone special entered Nayanika’s life. Ujjaini quickly dismisses the idea, insisting that she wants her mother all to herself. Shirsho encourages her to spend more time with Nayanika, and Ujjaini remarks that he is truly different from others.
Later, Neil returns home. Angana asks why he is late, and Neil explains that he had visited his mother’s house. Rohan tells Neil that he wants to meet Ujjaini. Angana then points out that Neil had gone to meet Nayanika. Meanwhile, Neil continues to worry about Nayanika, recalling how pale she looked. He feels that her condition does not seem like the after-effects of a simple viral fever, especially since she chose not to tell him about the tests.
Meanwhile, Ujjaini receives a call from Ishaan. He asks about Nayanika’s health, and Ujjaini tells him that she is feeling better. Nearby, Nayanika quietly asks Ujjaini not to mention her upcoming trip to Mumbai. Ujjaini agrees and then asks Ishaan when he plans to visit Kolkata again.
Ishaan replies that he has no particular reason to return and says he only called to check on Nayanika. When Ujjaini offers him a chance to speak with Nayanika, Nayanika refuses. Ujjaini then tells Ishaan that Nayanika is busy and that he can talk to her later before ending the call.
Afterward, Ujjaini questions Nayanika about her behavior toward Ishaan. Nayanika brushes it off by saying that Ishaan is a celebrity, which is why she maintains her distance. She also asks Ujjaini not to hand over the phone whenever Ishaan calls.
The following day, Nayanika meets her senior doctor after undergoing her tests. The doctor informs her that he has arranged everything for her medical evaluation in Mumbai after learning the details from Shikha. He also reassures her that he will not reveal anything to Neil.
Elsewhere, Ishaan announces that only Krish will accompany him on the donation campaign. Ena asks why their charity efforts are always connected to children. Her question triggers memories of Ishaan’s childhood. Choosing not to discuss it further, he refuses to give Ena a lift and leaves.
Meanwhile, a peon informs Ujjaini that Neil has called for her. Ujjaini initially refuses to meet him. Shirsho then offers to accompany her and advises her not to give anyone an opportunity to speak negatively about her.
