The episode begins with Dubey informing Aparajita that she must submit an official resignation letter signed by Rakshit to the HR department. Only then will her resignation be accepted. Aparajita tells Malti that she has to visit the office to complete the formalities. Malti silently praises Rakshit and asks Aparajita to go.
At the office, Ira taunts Aparajita for refusing to give up. Aparajita calmly says she has come to submit her official resignation. Ira is pleased to hear this and says it is the best decision for herself, Aparajita, and Rakshit.
Meanwhile, Aradhya tells Vivaan that his love gave her the courage to break off her engagement. Vivaan promises to fight the whole world for their relationship and says he wants to speak to her family. However, Aradhya stops him and asks him to wait. She fears everyone will think she left Rohan because of Vivaan. Vivaan agrees, while Aradhya secretly feels happy that she can now settle down with a rich man.
Elsewhere, Rakshit nervously prepares himself after learning that Aparajita has arrived. Although he tries to remind himself that he is the boss, he becomes uneasy when he sees her. Aparajita hands him her work report along with her resignation letter, but Rakshit angrily throws the papers away and scolds her.
Just then, Ira walks in and asks Rakshit to calm down. She reminds him that the company has already suffered a loss of ₹10 crore. Rakshit bitterly says that no one values loyalty anymore. He tells Aparajita that if she wants to leave, he will fire her instead. Ira advises him to handle the matter calmly before walking away.
On the other hand, Vivaan chats with Aradhya on his phone. Sudha notices him smiling and asks if someone special has entered his life. Vivaan asks whether she would approve of his choice. Sudha replies that she only hopes his choice isn’t like Aparajita’s before going inside.
At the same time, Aradhya smiles while reading Vivaan’s messages. Malti asks her to speak with Rohan and sort out their differences, but Aradhya refuses.
Back at the office, Rakshit informs Aparajita that she cannot leave immediately because she must serve a three-month notice period. Aparajita says that isn’t possible, but Rakshit refuses to make any exceptions. He tells her she can no longer take advantage of him because she resigned from their friendship as well. According to him, every employee is the same. His harsh words deeply hurt Aparajita, and she leaves the office in tears.
After Aparajita leaves, Rakshit suddenly struggles to breathe. He calls Malti for help, but she ignores his call.
Later, Vivaan visits Aradhya’s house, leaving her shocked. Just then, Malti returns from the market and happily assumes Rohan has come to visit. Panicked, Aradhya quickly asks Vivaan to hide.
Meanwhile, Ira calls Sudha and informs her that Rakshit has fired Aparajita. Relieved, Sudha feels that Rakshit has finally listened to her.
Elsewhere, Dubey offers Aparajita a glass of water while informing Rakshit about her condition. He consoles Aparajita, saying that the three-month notice period will pass soon. Aparajita regrets signing the contract, saying she would never have agreed if she had known about the notice period clause. Dubey encourages her using Rakshit’s own words. Touched by his support, Aparajita praises Dubey and remarks that Rakshit should learn something from him. Watching from a distance, Rakshit realizes how difficult it is to hurt Aparajita.
