The episode begins with Digvijay asking Anupama if she is feeling better. Anupama says the pain has reduced, and staying busy with work helps her forget it. She adds that she knows someone influenced Mahi, but she still can’t understand why Mahi got swayed. When Digvijay asks who will replace Mahi, Anupama says she has already made her decision.
Meanwhile, Kinjal questions Mahi for quitting the team at the last moment. She reminds her that Anupama corrected everyone’s mistakes, including Ishani’s, Prerna’s, and Mahi’s, during the competition. Kinjal says the challenges are becoming tougher, so this is not the right time to leave.
Paritosh defends Mahi, saying no one can force her to stay. Kinjal suspects that Paritosh and Pakhi have manipulated Mahi. She tells Mahi that they know she and Ishani would never demand a share from Anupama, so they are using her for their own benefit.
Mahi refuses to change her decision. Kinjal reminds her that she is one of the best cooks after Anupama and the team needs her. However, Mahi remains firm. Paritosh and Pakhi then point out that Anupama will now have to choose one of them to complete the team. Kinjal accuses them of once again turning Mahi against Anupama out of greed. Meanwhile, Pakhi and Paritosh think only about the prize money.
Elsewhere, Prem worries about Shruti. He tells Rahi that he wants to repay Shruti’s kindness and take over Anuj’s café. Rahi reminds him that they first need to complete their team. Prem says he is determined to defeat Anupama and will do whatever it takes. When Rahi questions him, Prem assures her that he will compete honestly. He also says he is determined to beat Anupama. Rahi suggests asking Vasundhara to join the team, but Prem says she will never agree.
Mahi feels lonely and believes no one truly cares about her. Anupama tries to convince her to stay with the team, but Mahi refuses. She claims Anupama always blames her whenever the team loses. Anupama denies ever doing that, but Mahi refuses to listen.
Later, Digvijay gives Anupama her medicine. Kinjal wonders how Anupama is managing to stay so calm despite everything. Hasmuk asks about her health, and Anupama says she will continue working hard in the competition despite the pain.
Ishani asks if Anupama spoke to Mahi. Pakhi and Paritosh reveal that Mahi has gone missing and again ask Anupama to choose one of them instead. Anupama surprises everyone by selecting Banku as Mahi’s replacement.
She asks Banku if he is ready to support the team, and he happily agrees. Banku proudly thanks Anupama for trusting him. Pakhi objects, saying Banku is not family according to the competition rules.
Anupama explains that members of the Love You Zindagi Café are also eligible to participate. Pakhi and Paritosh complain about not being selected. Anupama firmly tells them that after seeing how they manipulated Mahi and broke her trust, she could never choose them.
She says Banku deserves the opportunity far more than they do. Kinjal supports the decision, saying she has worked with Banku before and he knows all of Anupama’s recipes. Finally, Anupama asks Hasmuk and Leela to come a little later, as she has to leave early.
