Today’s episode focuses on the lie detector test, which puts Rahi, Prem, Digvijay and Anupama in difficult situations.
The episode begins with Leela telling Hasmuk that the organizers are trying to uncover the family’s secrets through the questions. Hasmuk worries that Rahi has been trapped. Meanwhile, Paritosh and Pakhi discuss Rahi, while Ishani tells Prerna that she hopes Rahi does not get hurt.
The organizers ask Rahi whether she would be happy if Anupama lost the competition and Prem won. Khyati feels that the questions have become too personal. Gautam taunts Shruti and says that Rahi’s real feelings will soon be exposed.
Anupama understands Rahi’s dilemma and hopes that she will answer honestly. Rahi thinks that she cannot hurt Prem, but at the same time, she cannot be happy about Anupama losing.
When Rahi is pressured to answer, she says that she would be happy if Prem won. However, the lie detector indicates that she is lying. Rahi is shocked and claims that the machine is wrong.
The organizer clarifies that the actual question was whether Rahi would be happy if Anupama lost. He explains that no daughter would genuinely want to see her mother lose. Rahi therefore loses the point.
Digvijay feels bad for Rahi. Anupama defends her daughter and says that Rahi does not hate her enough to celebrate her defeat. She understands that Rahi is trying to support Prem, even though Prem remains angry with her.
The organizers then turn their attention to Digvijay and question why he is supporting Anupama. They ask whether he is doing it because he wants the café or a share of the prize money.
Hasmuk supports Digvijay, while Shruti says that these are the questions everyone wants answered.
Digvijay explains that before meeting Anupama, he was simply living his life without any real purpose. According to him, Anupama gave him a reason to live and became like a guardian angel in his life.
He clearly says that he has no personal motive for supporting Anupama and simply admires her as a friend. Digvijay adds that he wants to remain by her side for the rest of his life. His answer is accepted by the lie detector, and he earns the point.
Shruti refuses to accept his explanation, while Paritosh begins doubting whether the lie detector is actually working properly.
Next, Prem faces a question about whether he considers Anupama a better chef than himself and whether she deserves to win. Prem confidently says that he does not consider Anupama his competition and believes that only he deserves the trophy.
The machine marks his answer as false, causing Prem to lose the point. Prem becomes angry and insists that the machine is lying. However, the organizer says that the machine has detected the truth and warns that Prem is underestimating Anupama.
The organizers then ask Anupama whether she would deliberately lose the competition because of Rahi and Prem.
Anupama says that she will not be unfair to the team supporting her. She promises to give her best and fight to win the competition. Her answer is accepted, and she receives the point.
Shruti calls Anupama selfish and hopes that Rahi will eventually understand her mother’s so-called selfishness. Gautam retaliates by calling Shruti selfish because she also wants the prize money.
The organizers once again question Rahi, asking whether she thinks Prem is not a good captain. Rahi supports Prem and answers in his favour, earning another point for Prem’s team.
Anupama prays that God continues to bless both Rahi and Prem despite all the tension between them.
The next question is directed at Digvijay. He is asked whether Prem’s team is playing the competition fairly.
Digvijay honestly says that Prem’s team has turned the competition into a battleground and is not treating it as a healthy competition. Shruti immediately opposes his statement.
The disagreement soon turns into another argument between the Shahs and the Kotharis. Seeing the situation getting out of control, Anupama steps in and asks both families to stop fighting.
