The episode begins with Vishwas making it clear that he does not care who knows about his divorce plans. Dhruv, however, points out that the matter is already affecting the family atmosphere, especially as Avantika is discussing cutting the wages of the maid hired by Aarambhi.
Sunny reminds Dhruv that the issue is between a husband and wife and that they only learned about it recently. Vishwas says there is no need to explain their personal matters to Dhruv. Dhruv counters that the family’s personal decisions can also affect the business. Vishwas assures him that they will handle any business losses themselves.
Sunil then blames Aarambhi for repeatedly humiliating the family in public and says it is better to end the relationship once and for all.
When Dimple questions Dhruv about how he learned about the divorce, Dhruv reveals that Vihaan told him. He explains that Vihaan believes the divorce is a “sorry gift” that Vishwas wants to give Aarambhi and that she will eventually return home.
Vishwas becomes furious and calls Vihaan. When Vihaan arrives, Vishwas explains that divorce means Aarambhi and he will be separated and that Vihaan will never see her again. Vihaan becomes angry and calls Vishwas a bad father.
Vishwas loses his temper and raises his hand to hit Vihaan. At that moment, Aarambhi steps in and stops him. She angrily questions Vishwas about how he could raise his hand against a child.
Meanwhile, Manmeet tends to the bruises on her face and covers them with makeup before Raj enters the room. She hopes that he has not noticed her injuries. Raj tells her that they have work to do, but he becomes suspicious that Manmeet is hiding something.
Back at the Tandon house, Dimple asks Aarambhi not to turn Vihaan against his father. Aarambhi reminds her that Vihaan is also her son and questions how everyone could stand silently while Vishwas was about to hit him.
Dhruv supports Aarambhi and says that she is right. Manju reminds Aarambhi that they came to the house to resolve the dispute peacefully. Aarambhi agrees but says that after witnessing Vishwas raising his hand against Vihaan, she will even question him in court about the incident.
Aarambhi then approaches Sunil with an important condition. She asks whether he will stop Vishwas from divorcing her if she proves that she was not responsible for sending the video to the police.
Vishwas tries to respond, but Sunil stops him. Sunil reveals that he is against the divorce because taking the matter to court could create negative publicity for the family. He gives Aarambhi two days to prove her innocence.
Aarambhi agrees but makes Sunil promise that nobody will ever raise a hand against Vihaan again. Sunil gives her his assurance.
However, Dhruv becomes worried and thinks that he cannot allow Aarambhi to discover the truth. Aarambhi, meanwhile, makes her own decision: the divorce may still happen, but this time, it will happen on her terms.
