Savi grows anxious as the memories flood back. Sensing her discomfort, Neil asks again if she knows what happened. Savi explains that she was in the middle of chasing a criminal when the suspect took Sai hostage. Neil had stepped in to save Sai and was shot in the process. Neil hugs her and expresses how proud he is of her bravery. He admits he had forgotten the risks her job entails and asks her to promise that she’ll return home safely every day. Though their past is lost to him, he’s eager to build a beautiful future with her. Savi promises, and, not wanting to be late on her first day, she leaves. Neil supports her decision.
Later, Sai comes home from school and is thrilled to see the house decorated for a movie and pizza night. Neil excitedly shares that he planned the surprise so they could enjoy some time together before Savi returns. Sai agrees and changes into comfy clothes. While they’re eating, Sai suddenly struggles to breathe. Just then, Savi arrives and urgently asks Neil if the pizza had olives. When he says yes, Savi panics—Sai is allergic to olives. She scolds Neil for feeding her without checking first and rushes to help. Neil quickly gives Sai her allergy medication and is left feeling deeply guilty for the oversight. He quietly leaves the room. Leena witnesses the entire scene.
The next day, Savi receives a legal notice from Bhagyashree seeking custody of Sai and Kian. The notice claims that Savi’s new family is unaware of the children’s medical needs and therefore, Bhagyashree should be granted custody.
