Hastinapur Ke Veer Today Episode 01 August 2026

The episode starts with Guru Dronacharya giving all his disciples an unexpected lesson. He instructs every prince to go out and beg for food from the people. Whatever they receive as alms will be their only meal for the day. The princes are shocked because, as the royal heirs of Hastinapur, they have never imagined asking ordinary people for food.

Despite their hesitation, each disciple receives a cloth bag to collect food. Ashwathama also asks for permission to join the task along with his brothers. Dronacharya happily allows him to participate.

Meanwhile, an important discussion takes place in the royal court about the status of women in the kingdom. Shakuni strongly opposes the proposal to establish a women’s council. He argues that such a council is unnecessary and would disturb the existing system.

Kunti firmly challenges Shakuni’s arguments with wisdom and logic. Gandhari also supports Kunti and says women deserve a platform where they can seek justice, share their concerns, and support one another during difficult times. Their powerful arguments impress many members of the court.

Dhritarashtra patiently listens to both sides. He says he is willing to consider the proposal and promises Kunti and Gandhari that he will discuss the matter with his ministers before making a final decision. His words give hope to everyone supporting the women’s council.

On the streets of Hastinapur, the princes begin their assignment. The Pandava brothers perform the task with humility and politely ask people for uncooked grains and food.

The Kaurava brothers, however, struggle with the task. Their royal pride prevents them from comfortably asking strangers for alms, making the lesson much more difficult for them.

Bhim reaches the house of a woman preparing food. She kindly offers him a small quantity of wheat. Bhim continues visiting other houses in search of more food, but each family can spare only a little. Gradually, he realizes how difficult life is for those who survive on the kindness of others.

Elsewhere, Shakuni continues opposing the women’s council with determination. Kunti refuses to back down and answers every argument with confidence and wisdom. She emphasizes the importance of justice, equality, and respect for women in society.

Bhishma also comes forward in support of Kunti and Gandhari. He praises their vision and urges Dhritarashtra to express his honest opinion without fear or hesitation.

During his journey, Yudhishthir approaches a poor man seeking alms. Instead of offering food, the man becomes emotional and says he has nothing left to give except his pain, suffering, and helplessness. His heartbreaking words deeply affect Yudhishthir and teach him that poverty often leaves people with nothing but sorrow.

Later, several respected women of Hastinapur gather in the royal court and jointly request the king to approve the formation of the Nari Sabha. Their united appeal strengthens the proposal.

After careful consideration, Dhritarashtra finally grants permission to establish the Nari Sabha, marking an important step toward giving women a respected voice in the kingdom.
