The episode begins with Ishani telling Shashwat that one day he will have to face the same pain she is enduring. Shashwat glares at her, shuts the door, and leaves her outside. Heartbroken, Ishani breaks down in tears and eventually falls asleep at the doorstep.
The next morning, neighbors find Ishani sleeping outside the house. Hearing their voices, she wakes up. Concerned, they ask what she is doing there. Ishani reveals that Shashwat threw her out the previous night. Shocked, one of the neighbors notices a mark on her cheek and realizes Shashwat slapped her. They advise Ishani to file a police complaint, saying she must not tolerate domestic violence.
Ishani hesitates, unsure if she should involve Anurag, but the neighbors insist they won’t remain silent against such injustice. Despite Ishani asking them not to interfere, they knock on the Senguptas’ door.
Inside, Shashwat asks Raj didi if Ishani hasn’t come in yet. Soon, they hear the neighbors’ voices. When Shashwat opens the door, the neighbors walk in with Ishani. Shashwat questions their intrusion, but they confront him, asking how he could throw his wife out in the middle of the night. They also question Raj didi, pointing out how shocking it is for another woman to allow this to happen.
Shashwat angrily warns them not to meddle in his personal life. Raj didi supports him, saying they never interfere in others’ matters, so no one should interfere in theirs. Pihu claims Ishani must have staged everything to gain sympathy. Ishani denies this, but Shashwat sarcastically taunts her, saying if she had knocked properly, they would have let her in, and all this drama wouldn’t have happened. Ishani, in tears, declares that living in hell would be better than living in the Sengupta house. She decides to leave, saying she has endured enough pain.
The neighbors stop her, reminding her she has every right to stay in her husband’s house. They warn Shashwat that being rich doesn’t give him the right to mistreat her. Pihu then accuses Ishani of being characterless and claims she is having an affair with the man Pihu herself loves, justifying Shashwat’s actions. But the neighbors shut her down, saying even if that were true, nothing justifies domestic violence—and Ishani’s injured cheek is enough evidence to file a case.
Shashwat defends himself, claiming he punished Ishani because she was wrong. Nandini adds that Ishani needed to be taught a lesson.
