The episode begins with Jhanak telling Rishi that she doesn’t want him to take her responsibility anymore. She says she will soon remove his name from the guardian column. Rishi, surprised, asks what wrong he did. Jhanak questions why he kept their meeting a secret from Aditi and his family, saying that hiding it proves he knew it was wrong. She adds that she doesn’t want to be the reason for any misunderstanding between him and Aditi and apologizes for refusing the food he brought.
Meanwhile, Aditi expresses her wish that Jhanak should not study in Kolkata. Indumati reminds her that Jhanak has already received admission. Tanushri comments that since Jhanak is not a local, she will likely get a hostel room. However, if she doesn’t, she might use sympathy to move in with Rishi’s family. Aditi insists that Aniruddh has handled the situation, while Indumati asks her to ensure Jhanak doesn’t settle in the city. Tanushri adds that Jhanak might later claim her rights over Rishi, and Neelu suggests teaching her a lesson.
As Rishi overhears their conversation, Aditi reveals that her parents met Jhanak’s principal to stop her from getting hostel accommodation. Shocked, Rishi listens as Aditi declares she will leave the house if Jhanak comes to live there. Though Aditi claims she isn’t against Jhanak’s education, she insists Jhanak should study in Simulboni instead. Rishi silently vows not to let the principal misuse his position.
When Neelu notices Rishi, she nervously asks when he arrived. Rishi simply tells them to continue their talk and refuses dinner. Suspicious, Aditi wonders if he heard everything. Rishi then thinks to himself that Jhanak’s fight is now his fight too.
The next day in Simulboni, Jhanak tells Parashar she hasn’t heard from the college yet. Parashar, feeling better, decides to accompany her. Sakhi worries about where Jhanak will stay, while Dhamu insists she cannot live at Rishi’s house. Parashar blames Aniruddh for the situation, but Jhanak defends him, saying he lacks the courage to face the truth.
Sakhi remarks that Aniruddh might accept Jhanak once she becomes a doctor and calls Aditi selfish. Jhanak defends Aditi, saying she has every right to protect her marriage. When Dhamu teases Jhanak about her feelings for Rishi, she lies that neither she nor Rishi have such feelings. Parashar reminds them that both have helped each other in tough times.
Later, Rishi calls Jhanak to inform her that Aniruddh and Arshi influenced the college to deny her hostel room. He urges her to fight against this injustice and reveals that he has informed the media. Shocked, Jhanak asks why he’s helping her go against Aditi. Rishi replies that he would do the same for anyone and that she deserves fairness. He ends the call, telling her to stand for the truth.
Jhanak tells Parashar what happened. He encourages her, saying she will triumph and the truth will soon prevail. Jhanak, however, decides to speak to the principal first. Determined, she declares that she worked hard for her seat and won’t give up easily. Sakhi assures her that she will win, while Jhanak vows to fight for her right to study.
