The episode begins with Aditi telling Rishi that she wants to question her parents about her childhood. Rishi supports her, saying she has every right to do so, though he adds that the past shouldn’t matter now. Aditi explains that Jhanak claimed Nutan raised her, and she wants to know the truth. Rishi tells her that if her parents hid something, they must have had their reasons. Aditi insists there’s also a chance Jhanak is lying, and reminds him that he never tolerates anyone speaking against Jhanak. Rishi advises her to talk to Bablu and Anjana if her parents refuse to tell her the truth.
Aditi agrees, saying Bablu and Anjana will be honest with her. Rishi then says that even if Jhanak is right, nothing significant will change. But Aditi disagrees, saying everything will change because it would mean her parents never accepted her. Rishi asks her to think about Jhanak’s situation too—her father didn’t accept her either. Aditi argues that Jhanak is wrong about Aniruddh, and if that’s true, she cannot accept it. She urges Rishi to understand her emotions.
Rishi asks her not to overreact about Jhanak. Aditi reminds him that he once hated Jhanak but now defends her, helps her, and even bought her a gift that day. She tells him to see things from her perspective. Rishi explains that he’s free from that forced marriage now, so there’s no reason for anger. He also points out that Jhanak was forced into it too. Aditi asks why he still cares so much for Jhanak. Rishi says it’s simply humanity, nothing more, and suggests Aditi should also show some compassion. Aditi tells him he’s being naive and failing to see Jhanak’s true intentions. Rishi insists he doesn’t believe Jhanak ever intentionally tried to harm anyone. He offers to accompany Aditi to Aniruddh’s house, but she refuses, saying she wants to face her parents alone, and leaves.
Meanwhile, Choton remarks that Aniruddh has changed since becoming wealthy. He assures Bablu that he is always welcome at his home and that no one will insult him or Anjana there. Aniruddh asks Choton not to assume they were mistreated. He explains that Anjana’s revelation about the truth caused a rift between him and Aditi, and that Aditi should have learned everything from him or Arshi first. Arshi, he says, is hurt, and as a mother, she’s right to feel that way. He asks Bablu to be careful next time and apologizes on Arshi’s behalf, urging Bablu not to leave.
Choton says he will respect Bablu’s decision and tells Aniruddh he understands his fear of Aditi’s reaction—but adds that this is simply karma before walking away.
Later, Aditi confronts her parents, demanding they tell her the truth and stop hiding things. She asks whether she really lived in Simulboni for five years as a child. Arshi, confused, asks why she’s bringing this up. Aditi insists on an answer. Arshi lies, saying Aditi was always with them. Aditi presses further, mentioning that both Anjana and Jhanak claimed Nutan raised her. Arshi reacts angrily, calling Jhanak’s words nonsense. Aditi again asks if she truly lived in Simulboni.
Elsewhere, Indumati asks Dadabhai why he’s always thinking about Jhanak. He says Jhanak scored well and deserves to study in a good college, especially since she achieved everything without help. He promises to always support her. He then mentions a missed call from an unknown number, suspecting it might be their estranged son’s. Indumati, tearful, says their son abandoned them long ago and questions why he would call now. Dadabhai still hopes he’ll return but admits something feels off about Neelu and her husband’s relationship. Indumati pleads with him not to think negatively.
Back at Aniruddh’s house, Arshi questions why they would ever send Aditi with Nutan. Aniruddh urges Aditi to trust them. Aditi turns to Bablu, asking him to tell the truth. Arshi scolds her for involving Bablu, but Aditi says she suspects her parents are lying. Aniruddh asks her to calm down, yet she demands to know if her parents truly abandoned her for five years. Bablu finally admits the truth: Nutan once claimed that Aditi had been stolen as a baby, but Aniruddh and Arshi didn’t believe her. Shocked, Aditi listens as Bablu reveals that Nutan actually rescued her from the kidnapper and took her to Simulboni. This, he says, is the real truth. Aditi breaks down in tears as she looks at her parents, while Arshi weeps silently beside her.
