The episode opens with Aniruddh telling Bablu that it wasn’t necessary to reveal the truth to Aditi. Bablu insists that Aditi deserved to know everything. He admits that he already told Jhanak the truth and says Aniruddh can throw him out of the house if he wishes.
Aditi, shocked and hurt, questions her parents about how they could betray her this way. Arshi asks Bablu why he only told Aditi half the truth and pleads with Aditi to hear her out. Arshi reveals that Aditi is her and Aniruddh’s daughter. She recounts what the doctor had told them and explains how Aniruddh brought Aditi home from Simulboni. She urges Aniruddh to speak.
Aniruddh tells Aditi that they cannot undo the past five years but assures her they gave her all the love they could after that. He apologizes for keeping the truth from her. However, Aditi refuses to forgive them. Arshi, in tears, calls Aditi her daughter, but Aditi runs away. Arshi bitterly tells Bablu that he must be satisfied now.
Meanwhile, Dadabhai tells Indumati that Putul wants to be self-reliant. Indumati says that would have been possible if their children’s lives were stable. She adds that even Rishi has suffered a lot. Dadabhai asks her not to overthink, but Indumati blames Jhanak for bringing turmoil into Rishi’s life. She fears his troubles may never end.
Dadabhai reminds her that they shouldn’t have mistreated Jhanak after learning the truth about her marriage, especially knowing what Putul endured. He praises Parashar and Nutan for raising Jhanak well. Indumati argues that their home lost peace because of Jhanak, but Dadabhai disagrees. He says they had no issues with her initially. When Indumati questions why Jhanak applied vermilion and followed Rishi around, Dadabhai replies that a marriage is still a marriage — forced or not — and Jhanak never demanded anything from Rishi. Indumati still worries about the future, but Dadabhai reassures her that Rishi will return and Putul will find happiness.
The next day, Tanushri tells Abhimanyu that Mishti is preparing for her exams. Abhimanyu asks her to sit, saying he has something important to discuss. He encourages her to resume the work she once gave up for the children and not abandon her dreams. Tanushri hesitates, saying it’s too late for her to start again. Abhimanyu assures her that it’s never too late and urges her to think about herself. Tanushri worries about what others might say, but Abhimanyu tells her that no one has the right to judge her choices.
Elsewhere, Payal asks her children if they’ve finished their homework. Kaju says they’ll do it later because they’re going out with Putul. Payal complains that Putul didn’t seek her permission. Surjeet intervenes, sending the children away and reminding Payal that Putul is responsible. Payal criticizes Putul for leaving her in-laws’ house, but Surjeet defends her, saying her personal life shouldn’t be judged.
Putul overhears their conversation and steps in. She explains that the outing plan was just decided, and she came to ask for permission. She then tells them to inform Kaju and Badam that she won’t take them out.
Rishi arrives and asks what’s going on. Surjeet explains, and Rishi insists that the children should go out with Putul. Surjeet agrees, saying the children are affected by the ongoing tension at home. Rishi takes offense, asking if Surjeet is blaming him for the negativity. Surjeet clarifies he didn’t mean that. Rishi declares that Jhanak will soon leave the house and that they should be proud of her. Surjeet counters that he is proud of Mishti, not Jhanak, who is still a stranger to him. The children return, ready to leave, and Payal finally allows them to go with Putul.
Later, Tanushri tells Abhimanyu, “What if Rishi is right about Jhanak’s real identity?” Abhimanyu asks why Aniruddh would lie. Tanushri wonders why Nutan took Aniruddh’s name, then changes the topic. Abhimanyu, however, urges her once again to think seriously about her career.
