The episode opens with Jhanak placing a food order for herself and Rishi, but Rishi refuses to eat. When Jhanak asks him why, he bluntly tells her to eat silently if she wants and adds that he’ll do what he wishes. Jhanak points out that he’s angry, which is why he isn’t hungry. Rishi then accuses her of having no shame. Jhanak, confused, asks what she did wrong. Rishi angrily replies that she and her villagers have destroyed his life.
Jhanak pleads with him not to say that she ruined his life. She reminds him that she already told him this marriage holds no real meaning. She only married him to protect him. She assures him that she’ll wipe off the vermilion before entering his house and will return to her village soon after. She also asks him not to yell at her in front of the driver and questions whether he still doesn’t trust her. Rishi confirms that he doesn’t and adds that life is not like a movie.
Later, Jhanak, excited by the food, asks Rishi to join her. When he refuses, she begins eating and comments on how tasty the food is. Meanwhile, Rishi impatiently tells the driver to speed up as he needs to reach Kolkata quickly. The driver refuses, citing safety concerns. Frustrated, Rishi takes the wheel and starts driving recklessly. The driver warns him to be careful, but Rishi soon loses control and crashes into a tree. Jhanak is rendered unconscious. The panicked driver asks if Rishi has killed her, reminding him that he warned against speeding. Rishi tells him to be quiet, assuring that Jhanak is still breathing—her seatbelt had come loose.
Bystanders gather and alert the police. Rishi introduces himself to the officer and asks for help. He then carries Jhanak and rides in the police jeep.
Meanwhile, Rani tries to comfort a tearful Nutan, who laments that everyone has destroyed Jhanak’s life even though she’s innocent. Dhamu arrives and admits he feels ashamed. Mangal and Veer agree with him. Sakhi suggests getting Rishi’s number to talk to Jhanak. Dhamu then leaves with Mangal and Veer. Nutan reflects on how Jhanak once had dreams of studying, but fate had other plans. She compares Jhanak’s current situation to her own painful past and prays that Jhanak’s life doesn’t end up like hers.
Rishi admits Jhanak to a hospital, where wardboys take her into the emergency room. The police officer questions Rishi about the accident. Rishi explains that he lost control in a rush and crashed. When asked about Jhanak’s relation to him, he says she’s his relative.
Inside the emergency room, the doctor begins treating Jhanak and tells the nurse she may regain consciousness soon. Jhanak eventually wakes up and says she needs to leave. The nurse asks for her name, but Jhanak, in pain, says her head is spinning. The nurse reassures her she’ll be fine.
Elsewhere, Bua questions Nutan’s sadness despite Jhanak marrying a man from the city. Kanka adds that Nutan should be happy since Rishi is a government officer and the villagers funded the wedding. Sakhi defends Jhanak, reminding them she is their village’s daughter. Kanka retorts that Jhanak’s father is from the city, so she isn’t truly one of them. Rani intervenes and tells Kanka to stop.
Meanwhile, Ishani confronts Pihu, asking her to come to her senses. Pihu, surprised, asks what Ishani is doing there. Jeet taunts Ishani, saying she seems jealous that he brought Pihu. He tells her to come back another day as today belongs to Pihu. Ishani lashes out, threatening to call the police. Jeet counters, saying she should tell them everything about her past. Ishani insists she won’t let Jeet ruin Pihu’s life, even if it means exposing herself. She urges Pihu to go home.
Pihu, intoxicated but alert, demands to know if Jeet already knew Ishani. Jeet promises to tell Ishani’s story someday. Ishani calls him disgusting. Pihu then orders Jeet to call security and throw Ishani out for ruining her party. Ishani warns she’ll inform Pralay. Pihu declares she’s not afraid. Jeet advises Pihu to go home for now. Ishani then reveals that Jeet once tried to trap her and destroyed her life. She tells Jeet to say whatever he wants, but she won’t let him destroy Pihu’s life to cover up his own past.
