Jhanak Today Episode 28 November 2025
The episode opens with Rishi asking Aditi not to let her parents influence her. Aditi, however, tells him that she has decided she cannot continue living with him. Rishi apologizes for hurting her, but Aditi accuses him of constantly lying for Jhanak and even insulting Aniruddh. Rishi insists he only spoke the truth about Aniruddh, but Aditi refuses to listen further. She turns to her parents and says, “Let’s go.”
Indumati asks Aditi to come back in two days, calling her the Lakshmi of the house. Aditi responds that Jhanak—not she—is treated as the Lakshmi. Abhimanyu scolds Rishi, and Rishi tells him that he never asked Aditi to leave. He then confronts Aniruddh, saying he knows Aniruddh is Jhanak’s father and that Aniruddh himself knows it but refuses to admit it. Rishi vows to stand with Jhanak for justice. Aditi warns him that she won’t spare him if he drags Aniruddh’s name into any scandal. Rishi replies that anyone who is guilty—whether himself or Aniruddh—deserves punishment.
Later, Parashar calls Rishi to ask about Jhanak. Rishi assures him she is fine. When Parashar questions why Jhanak is not answering his calls, Rishi explains she had been hospitalized but is now back at the hostel. Parashar scolds him for not looking after her properly, and Mangal and Dhamu also mock him. Rishi declares that he supports Jhanak even if it means going against his own family. Parashar says Rishi is not a saint, but Rishi insists he only wants the best for Jhanak, dreams of seeing her become a doctor, and genuinely loves her despite not knowing what the future holds. Parashar tells him not to talk about love since he broke off his marriage with Jhanak; if he truly loved her, he would have stayed with her.
Meanwhile, Abhimanyu tells Tanushri that Aditi and her parents are not answering calls. Tanushri assumes they are upset. Indumati suggests that Rishi should try to convince Aditi to return. Putul questions why he should be the one to do it, saying it’s not right to leave home over small issues. Tanushri disagrees, saying this is not a small matter and she can’t believe Rishi is treating Aditi this way. Indumati says she doesn’t want to celebrate the anniversary under such circumstances. Abhimanyu tries to console her but also says that if Rishi doesn’t change, he will disown him. Tanushri is shocked, but Abhimanyu explains that Rishi’s behavior will bring them disgrace. He suggests waiting for now.
At the restaurant, Sanjhbati tells Jhanak that she wants to talk to her and encourages her to fight for her rights. She urges Jhanak to make Aniruddh admit she is his daughter. Rishi informs Jhanak that Aditi has left the house. Jhanak says this is exactly what she feared and why she didn’t want to meet Rishi. Rishi tells her he will not stop seeing her. Sanjhbati says she knows Rishi genuinely cares for Jhanak and believes none of this would have happened if Aditi had accepted her earlier. She decides she will speak to Aditi and insists Jhanak must stand up for her own rights. Jhanak says Aniruddh will never acknowledge her. Rishi urges her to tell the world the truth, but Jhanak says doing so could drive Aditi to extreme actions because she cannot handle the truth. Sanjhbati says the truth will not change and declares she will tell Aditi herself, but Jhanak pleads with her not to.
Rishi then tells Jhanak that some students have filed complaints against her with the principal. Jhanak wonders how she can focus on her studies when she constantly has to fight these battles. Sanjhbati tells her that she must fight if she wants to study and that someday everyone will realize they wronged her. She even offers Jhanak a place in her own home, but Jhanak refuses. Rishi says he promised Nutan he would take care of Jhanak, and he won’t break that promise. Jhanak asks him not to interfere in her problems, but Rishi says their lives have become intertwined.
In the principal’s office, students accuse Jhanak of stealing their belongings and performing rituals with a skull. When Jhanak arrives, the principal informs her of the complaints. Jhanak defends herself, but the students insist they do not want to share the hostel with her and demand that the principal take action.
