The episode opens with Rishi asking Nutan about Jhanak’s father. Nutan recalls her marriage with Aniruddh and admits that if she had revealed the truth earlier, it would have created chaos in his life. She tells Rishi to verify the truth for himself even if she confides in him. Urged by Rishi not to hesitate, Nutan says she feels her time is running out, so she must reveal everything. She finally discloses that Aniruddh Bose is Jhanak’s father, leaving Rishi stunned. Shocked, he immediately asks, “Then what about Aditi?”
Nutan explains that Aditi is the daughter of Aniruddh and Arshi. She recalls how Aditi stayed with her for a few years and how she lovingly called her Moon. Rishi remembers Bablu once referring to Aditi as Moon. Just then, Jhanak hands Rishi a letter meant for Aniruddh, telling him that if he still has doubts, he should speak with Anjana and Bablu.
Meanwhile, Aditi tells Aniruddh that Rishi should respect her decisions, but instead he is going against her wishes. She says Rishi informed her after reaching Simulboni that someone there is in serious condition. Aniruddh suspects Nutan might be unwell, but Aditi refuses to discuss it further and walks away. Aniruddh follows her inside. Elsewhere, Anjana tells Bablu that Jhanak has endured immense suffering and they should have stood by her. Overhearing this, Arshi becomes furious and says that Jhanak is being given importance after so many years.
Later, Aditi visits Rishi’s house and questions the family for not stopping him. Dadabhai proudly says he supports Rishi’s decision and sees no reason to stop him. Indumati asks him to calm down. Surjeet explains that since Jhanak’s condition is critical, her family had to be informed; otherwise, they might blame Rishi in the future. Abhimanyu asks who else could have gone. Dadabhai replies that because Rishi was responsible for Jhanak’s accident, it was his duty to take responsibility.
Tanushri tries to make Dadabhai understand Aditi’s perspective, reminding him that her marriage was canceled because of Jhanak, and Rishi’s involvement in her matters naturally affects Aditi. Dadabhai responds that he never asked Rishi to go to Simulboni. Aditi insists Rishi could have delegated the matter to someone from the office, but Dadabhai firmly says Rishi made the right call.
Aditi worries that Dadabhai might push Rishi to accept Jhanak. Dadabhai bluntly states that Rishi is already married to Jhanak, and he should accept this reality. He insists that no one can change fate. Abhimanyu counters that the marriage was forced, but Dadabhai refuses to back down. Indumati urges him to stop, warning that he is turning against his family. Aditi accuses Jhanak of siding with Rishi only to remain in his good books.
Meanwhile, Nutan struggles to breathe. Rishi immediately offers to call a doctor, but Nutan tells him her time has come. She expresses her last wish—that Rishi should never abandon Jhanak.
