The episode begins with Mrs. Sharma sternly informing Katha that her exam paper is cancelled and she will have to appear again next semester. As Katha notices a pamphlet for UV’s café, she immediately suspects that he is behind this setback. Heartbroken, she shares her frustration over missing the exam and vows not to forgive UV for ruining her dreams—especially on her wedding day.
At the Jindal residence, Eshwar oversees the wedding preparations, instructing workers. Just then, Mohan arrives with his family. Eshwar greets them warmly and asks about Katha. Mohan tells him that she has gone to college to write her exam. Eshwar grows concerned, knowing UV is also at the college to reopen his café. He silently prays things don’t go wrong.
Eshwar then informs Mohan and his family about Kailash and Chandrika’s arrival, asking them to let Katha take blessings from the elders once she returns. Mohan agrees and thanks Eshwar for managing the wedding so well. But Eshwar humbly says he is grateful to Mohan for agreeing to the alliance. He assigns a worker to escort Mohan’s family to their rooms, all while hoping no one notices their presence.
Meanwhile, Naina receives a call from Prerna, who informs her about the cancellation of Katha’s paper. Shocked, Naina rushes out to bring Katha home, assuring her parents not to worry. Mohan and Vandana are visibly anxious.
At the college, Prerna comforts a devastated Katha, who breaks down in tears. Katha blames UV for everything that’s happened. Just then, Naina arrives and consoles Katha, assuring her that she’ll perform well in the next attempt. She reminds Katha that everything happens according to God’s will and urges her to return home for the wedding. Katha remains broken but nods.
Left alone, Katha resolves to focus on her marriage. She tells herself she cannot fail at this too—especially since it’s Eshwar and Mohan’s decision, both of whom genuinely care for her. She grows emotional, wondering if marriage will hinder her dreams of studying further.
Soon, UV and his team arrive at the college. He discusses the café’s menu with his team and then notices Katha wiping away tears. He mocks her with a taunt before walking away, leaving Katha hurt and frustrated.
Back at home, UV arrives and immediately criticizes Shlok’s attire. Shlok urges UV to change before Chandrika sees him. UV resists, but their argument is cut short when Chandrika arrives. She scolds UV for his careless attitude toward the wedding and questions Rukmini about her grandchildren’s behavior. Rukmini expresses relief that UV returned and insists he change into proper attire. She also warns him not to utter anything inauspicious on his wedding day. Shlok and the others escort UV to his room.
In the room, Shlok asks UV to wear his wedding sherwani. UV resists, saying the marriage means nothing to him. Shlok reminds him that he is a kind, sensible man and tries to make him understand. UV admits he agreed to the wedding only for the sake of his café. He even comments on how strange it is that the bride agreed to marry him without meeting him once. Still, he eventually gives in to Shlok’s request and allows himself to be dressed as the groom with the help of his cousins.
Meanwhile, Katha is shown getting ready as a bride, still upset and thinking UV is the reason her exam paper was cancelled.
