The episode begins with UV scolding his cousins and friends for seeking Katha’s help to get him released from prison. However, they stop him from leaving the room and surprise him with a cake they baked for him. Touched, UV appreciates the gesture and dances joyfully with them. He then admits that the only reason he’s staying in the house is because of them—otherwise, he would never stay with Eshwar, who constantly taunts him.
UV shares some exciting news: he’s finally located his mother and plans to bring her home the next day. Everyone is overjoyed. UV tells himself that he will make his mother sit on the special chair he crafted for her, adding that the next day will be a lucky one as he finally reunites with her.
Meanwhile, Katha writes in her diary, reflecting on her encounter with UV. She resolves to become financially independent so she can help her uncle Mohan clear his debts and support the family. Just then, Mohan arrives and informs her that Navin’s daughter is unwell, requesting Katha to prepare a medicinal remedy. Katha agrees.
Later, UV visits Navin’s home to check on his daughter. Navin apologizes for not being able to attend work regularly. UV assures him that he understands, assuming he must be caught up in something important. Navin updates him about his daughter’s health. UV advises him to focus on caring for her. When Sushila brings the children outside, UV gives Navin’s daughter a doughnut she wanted. At that moment, Katha arrives and scolds UV for giving unhealthy food to a sick child. She blames him for worsening the girl’s condition.
Shocked by the accusation, UV argues back. Katha insists the child will not eat the doughnut but the medicine she has prepared. The argument escalates while Navin and Sushila watch helplessly. Eventually, UV throws Katha’s medicine away and encourages the kids to enjoy the doughnut he made. The children happily oblige. UV mocks Katha before walking away, leaving her annoyed. Navin then suggests that Katha consider working with UV instead of fighting. Katha is stunned and immediately dismisses the idea as impossible before walking away.
Meanwhile, UV visits an old age home, hoping to meet his mother. A detective brings a woman and asks UV to taste a dish she made. After tasting it, UV realizes she isn’t his mother but, on the detective’s insistence, agrees to see her face just to be sure. His hope is shattered. The woman is hurt by the rejection, but before she leaves, UV offers her a chocolate he made. She smiles. A few other elderly women observe this from a distance and comment on it.
Later, Katha bumps into UV, and he catches her before she falls. Just then, the elderly woman collapses. Both UV and Katha rush to help her. Katha wrongly assumes the woman fell sick because of the chocolate and starts scolding UV. Shocked, UV tries to defend himself. Other ladies at the old age home step in and clarify that the woman hadn’t eaten the chocolates yet. Katha is left speechless. UV taunts her, leading to another argument. The woman regains consciousness and tells them to stop fighting. She then remarks on their “jodi,” surprising both UV and Katha.
