Karan is overwhelmed by his emotions when he comes face-to-face with Gautam. He breaks down and opens up about everything that has been troubling him. Karan feels that despite spending his entire life caring for his children and trying to provide them with the best, he has somehow failed as a father.
His biggest concern is Samaira. Karan believes that she is still too young to understand what is truly good for her. He tells Gautam that Samaira no longer understands him and refuses to see the truth about Sid.
Karan strongly believes that Sid is not the right person for Samaira. In his opinion, Parag would be a much better and more suitable choice for his daughter. His emotional state makes it clear that his concern is not simply about the engagement. He genuinely fears that Samaira could make a decision that might affect her entire life.
Karan admits that he feels completely helpless and alone. Seeing him in such a vulnerable state, Gautam becomes emotional and embraces him. Gautam assures Karan that he should never consider himself a failure.

After Tulsi leaves, the truth becomes clear. Tripti and Sid come out, and Tripti praises Sid for his convincing performance.
Sid remains worried about the upcoming engagement and wonders how they will stop it. Tripti, however, stays calm and tells him not to panic.
She explains that Tulsi will now handle everything for them. Tripti knows Tulsi’s nature and understands that she cannot tolerate anything she believes is unjust.
Tripti is confident that once Tulsi becomes convinced that Samaira is making the wrong decision, she will take matters into her own hands. She believes this is exactly what they need.
