The episode begins with Lakshmi noticing Karan at home. Surprised, she asks how he returned so early. Karan, sensing her unease, asks if something is wrong, noticing her fearful expression. Lakshmi hides the truth about secretly sending Krish’s DNA samples for testing with Karthik, choosing not to reveal anything. Karan recalls Krish’s words: “Lakshmi will not tell you the truth, even if you ask her.”
The doctor advises Krish to take care of his facial skin following his recent surgery. Meanwhile, Lakshmi receives the DNA report. Upon reading it, she is shocked to discover that Krish is, in fact, her Karthik. Frozen in disbelief, she stands still. Karan enters and asks what happened, but Lakshmi dismisses it, saying nothing’s wrong. Karan, remembering Krish’s earlier words, grows angry and punches the wall. Lakshmi stops him. He confronts her, accusing her of hiding things from him and betraying him. Karan accuses her of secretly contacting Krish behind his back. Lakshmi asks how he knows, and Karan responds that the truth can’t be hidden, adding that he realized it when Krish arrived, but she still lied to him. He demands to know what’s going on between her and Krish. Lakshmi explains that her past has resurfaced in Krish’s new face and hands him the DNA report. Karan is stunned when he sees it and exclaims, “So Karthik and Krish are the same person?” He’s shocked because the police had confirmed Karthik’s death. Lakshmi assures him the DNA report can’t be fabricated. Karan doubts Krish might be trying to trick them, but Lakshmi insists she secretly conducted the test to confirm the truth. Overcome with shock, Karan collapses.
Meanwhile, Krish is seen preparing a mannequin dressed as a bride. Jia confronts him, asking why he’s preparing a bride. Krish explains that he’s imagining how his bride, Lakshmi, will look in a wedding dress. Jia reminds him that they came to take revenge on Lakshmi, but he seems to be dreaming about settling with her. Krish responds that while they’re working together, their targets are different. Jia watches him in silence.
Lakshmi, disguised as a helper boy, sneaks into Krish’s cabin and examines his accounts. She notices large transfers of money to Karthik’s parents and extravagant spending at a beauty clinic. She takes photos of the bank statements. Just then, she hears footsteps and hides. Krish enters, opens his laptop, and looks at pictures of Karthik and Lakshmi. From her hiding spot, Lakshmi wonders why Krish has their photos. She realizes her suspicions were right—Krish is indeed Karthik.
Later, Maddy tells Karan to stop drinking and acting like Devdas over Lakshmi. Karan snaps, saying not today, as he’s in too much pain. He fears that if Krish turns out to be Karthik, Lakshmi might leave him for her first love. He cries, unable to imagine life without her.
The next day, Lakshmi visits the hospital to inquire about Krish, showing the bills. The doctor refuses to provide any information, but a nurse intervenes, offering to help. She reveals that the patient used to sing well, but his face was severely damaged in an accident, and after surgery, it was completely transformed. She also gives Lakshmi some of his belongings. As she inspects the items, Lakshmi realizes they belong to Karthik. Overcome with emotion, she steps out onto the road in a daze. She calls Krish and demands he meet her immediately.
Krish arrives in his car, and Lakshmi, filled with determination, orders him to tell her the truth. She threatens to throw herself in front of his car if he doesn’t answer. Krish confirms, “Yes, I am your Karthik, and you are my Maha Lakshmi.” Lakshmi is left stunned by his admission. Before she can respond, Jia intentionally runs her over with her car and quickly drives away. Karthik rushes to Lakshmi, who lies on the road injured. He tries to help her up, but she loses consciousness. Panicked, he worries over her condition.
