The episode opens with Jia believing Lakshmi is dead. But to her shock, Lakshmi opens her eyes, grabs Jia by the neck, and warns her. Terrified, Jia runs away. Lakshmi thanks Raghuveer for arriving just in time. A flashback reveals how Raghuveer caught Lakshmi when Karthik pushed her off the balcony.
Lakshmi tells Raghuveer that the man who tried to kill her didn’t feel like Karthik—his eyes were empty, his face expressionless. Raghuveer agrees, saying he noticed the same lifelessness when he spoke to Karthik. Lakshmi begins to suspect Jia has done something to him.
Meanwhile, Jia looks at her hypnosis pendant, convinced it’s the key to making Karthik hers. She mutters to herself that no one can ever discover her secret. Gayatri overhears her and questions her, but Jia brushes it off with an insult. Gayatri then mentions that Karthik pushed her and later went to sleep, asking if Jia had anything to do with it. Jia evades the question and walks away.
Lakshmi warns Gayatri not to trust Jia, revealing that Karthik pushed her off the balcony. She insists the real Karthik would never do such a thing. But Gayatri refuses to believe her and tells her that if she’s so disturbed, she should leave the house.
Later, Karthik regains consciousness. Lakshmi stays distant. When Karthik notices her fear, she reminds him of what he did. Karthik insists he doesn’t remember anything and walks away angrily after a brief argument.
While working out, Karthik drinks a protein shake and collapses.
Jia uses the opportunity to hypnotize him again with her pendant, commanding him to kill Lakshmi. Lakshmi secretly witnesses everything and finally realizes Jia is the one controlling Karthik. When Jia hears a noise, she checks the cupboard, but Lakshmi—who was hiding—manages to escape. Determined, Lakshmi vows to separate Jia from Karthik and break the spell.
She searches for Karthik but can’t find him in his room. Unbeknownst to her, Jia has hidden Karthik away, planning to use him when the time is right to finish Lakshmi.
Lakshmi heads to Raghuveer’s house. When Veda asks where she’s been, Lakshmi lies and says she was at work. Later, Veda asks for a bedtime story, and Lakshmi tells her one until she falls asleep.
Raghuveer then questions Lakshmi about her sudden visit. She finally opens up, revealing that she now understands what’s happening—Jia has hypnotized Karthik. Stunned, Raghuveer urges her to stay with him until Karthik is safe again. But Lakshmi refuses, determined to rescue Karthik on her own.
