The episode begins with Lakshmi trying to call Karthik, but her call doesn’t connect. She dials the landline, and Gayatri answers—only for Jia to cut the wire. Realizing that Jia has discovered she knows the truth, Lakshmi quickly hires an auto to rush home. Jia tries to leave the house to stop her, but Karthik intervenes, asking her to stay back since they must leave for the hospital.
On the way, Lakshmi’s auto breaks down after hitting punctures caused by needles scattered on the road—Prema’s doing. Stranded, Lakshmi looks for a lift. Prema, remembering Jia’s order to stop Lakshmi, commands her men to act. They surround Lakshmi and begin harassing her. Fighting back fiercely with sticks, Lakshmi beats them and warns, “Tell your madam she failed to kill me—I’m coming to face her!” Prema, watching from her car, decides to finish Lakshmi herself and drives toward her. Just then, Mata Rani’s chunri falls on Prema’s car, making her lose control and crash slightly. Furious, Prema calls Jia and admits Lakshmi escaped. Jia scolds her and says she’s on her way.
Jia places pillows on her bed to make it look like she’s asleep and sneaks out through the window. Meanwhile, Lakshmi runs but feels suffocated. Sanjana enters Jia’s room with food, only to find her missing, and hurries to inform Karthik. Elsewhere, Lakshmi thinks, No cabs are available because of the strike. Suddenly, she spots Jia approaching and hides inside a bus. Jia follows her in and searches, but Lakshmi conceals herself in the back seat. Unable to find her, Jia steps out. Just as Lakshmi prepares to leave, the bus starts moving. She asks the driver to stop—only to see Jia at the wheel. Jia mocks her, saying she won’t let her return home. It’s revealed that Jia had spotted Lakshmi entering the bus through the auto’s mirror. A fierce struggle begins.
At home, Karthik looks for his phone and finds it hidden under the pillow. Switching it on, he wonders where Imarti has gone. Inside the moving bus, Lakshmi repeatedly demands Jia stop, but Jia refuses. When Karthik calls Jia/Imarti, she clamps her hand over Lakshmi’s mouth and lies, “I’m at the temple, coming home,” before cutting the call. She then orders Lakshmi to leave Karthik. Lakshmi boldly replies, “Then let’s die together.” Terrified, Jia distracts her and shoves her out of the speeding bus. Believing Lakshmi is dead, Jia regains control of the bus, stops it, and celebrates her supposed victory.
