The episode begins with Karthik sternly warning Jia’s henchmen not to reveal to her that they failed to kill Lakshmi. As he turns to leave, Lakshmi approaches and gently asks if he’s okay. Karthik reassures her that although he went with Jia, she didn’t manage to hypnotize him. Relieved, Lakshmi smiles and says, “That means I chose the right pendulum. I’m so glad you’re safe.” Overwhelmed, she hugs him tightly.
But Karthik abruptly pulls away and, filled with anger, tells Lakshmi to get lost. He reminds her that she chose to marry someone else and declares that he now hates her. Undeterred, Lakshmi grabs his collar and says, “I still love you. What you think is not the truth—misunderstandings have built a wall between us. Trust me once… just come with me.” Karthik hesitates, torn, but eventually agrees.
Lakshmi takes him to Raghuveer’s house and shows him Antara. Shocked, Karthik stares at her and asks how it’s possible that she looks exactly like Lakshmi. Lakshmi explains, “It’s fate. This lookalike caused all the misunderstandings between us.” She then reveals how Jia blackmailed Raghuveer into driving a wedge between them to protect her own daughter, Veda. Raghuveer confirms the story and assures Karthik that Lakshmi is just a friend.
Karthik breaks down, consumed with guilt for doubting Lakshmi. She gently consoles him, and Raghuveer expresses his regret. Karthik responds, “You did it to protect your daughter. You don’t need to apologize.” Just then, an alarm on Karthik’s phone rings—he explains he set it as a reminder. Raghuveer advises him to return and pretend he’s still under Jia’s hypnosis so her illusion isn’t broken. Karthik nods, and he and Lakshmi leave.
Elsewhere, Jia wakes up, confident that Lakshmi is dead. She overhears Umesh telling Gayatri and Sanjana that they need to find the house documents quickly. He warns that if the papers fall into the wrong hands, it could spell trouble, and suggests filing a police complaint. Alarmed, Jia thinks to herself, “I need to sell this house fast before they discover it’s in my name. I don’t care if Karthik’s family ends up homeless.”
Later, Jia checks on Karthik and finds him asleep, assuming he’s still under her control. She leaves, unaware that Karthik opens his eyes moments later. He thinks, “Lakshmi saved me by getting me here in time. I just hope she’s safe.”
Right then, Lakshmi walks in and overhears Jia on a phone call with Mathur, trying to sell the house for their hotel project. Lakshmi is stunned: “How can she sell this house? It’s in my father’s name!”
Rushing to Karthik, she tends to the wound on his chest. The two grow emotional as she updates him on Jia’s betrayal. Karthik reveals, “Everything Jia did was because of me. I agreed to marry her when she blackmailed me—threatening to destroy my family. She ruined my business, then bought this house under her name to cover the losses. I failed both as a son and as a husband.”
Lakshmi gently holds his hand and says, “But you searched for me… and now we’re together again.” She looks into his eyes and vows, “I promise to fix everything—with you by my side.” Karthik nods, silently affirming their new beginning.
