The episode opens with Lakshmi staring at a hoarding announcing Karthik and Jia’s engagement. Coincidentally, Karthik is nearby, unaware of her presence.
Meanwhile, Raghuveer receives devastating news from the doctor — the heart donor for Veda has withdrawn, as the donor’s family changed their mind at the last minute. Distressed, Raghuveer pleads with the doctor to arrange another donor, but the doctor warns it could take up to six months.
Raghuveer immediately calls Lakshmi and informs her that Veda’s condition has deteriorated. He urges her to come home without delay. Lakshmi agrees and rushes to catch an auto. At the same time, Karthik, also in the area, gets into his car and drives off.
As the auto begins moving, Lakshmi’s pallu gets caught in the wheel. She asks the driver to stop, steps out, and carefully frees it. Karthik spots her from his car and is stunned — he can’t believe his eyes. He begins to follow her, but by the time he approaches, Lakshmi is already back in the auto and rides away.
Back at home, Veda insists she wants to see Lakshmi. Raghuveer tries to soothe her. Just then, he hears a sound outside. He steps out and sees a woman in the shadows. Thinking it might be Lakshmi, he calls out to her.
Elsewhere, Karthik, now stuck in traffic, abandons his car and chases the auto on foot, but loses it in the crowd. With people urging him to move his car, he’s forced to drive away.
Lakshmi arrives home and gently comforts Veda, eventually lulling her to sleep with a soothing lullaby. Raghuveer silently watches, touched by Lakshmi’s motherly care.
Meanwhile, Gayatri calls Karthik, urging him to come home. He refuses, saying he’s searching for Lakshmi. Gayatri tries to convince him to accept that Lakshmi is gone, but Karthik insists he saw her and abruptly hangs up.
Moments later, Karthik spots the same auto driver and rushes over. At first, the driver doesn’t recognize him, but soon realizes Karthik is the famous singer and confirms Lakshmi was indeed his passenger. He shares her address with Karthik.
At home, Raghuveer notices Lakshmi looking upset and asks her why. Lakshmi reveals she saw the news of Karthik and Jia’s engagement. When Raghuveer checks online, he confirms it’s true. But Lakshmi refuses to believe Karthik could move on, convinced he’s still searching for her. Raghuveer tells her not everyone loves like she does, but Lakshmi remains firm — even if God himself claimed Karthik had forgotten her, she wouldn’t believe it until she hears it from Karthik. She walks away, emotional. Just then, Raghuveer receives a message and is shocked, wondering how it could be true.
At that moment, Karthik arrives at the address given by the auto driver. As he enters the house, he is stunned to see Raghuveer embracing Lakshmi. Raghuveer, unaware of Karthik’s presence, gently reassures Lakshmi and applies sindoor to her hairline. Karthik watches from a distance, shattered and heartbroken.
