The episode begins with Shanti pleading with Mangal to remarry so that Lipika’s marriage can go ahead and both her daughters’ futures can be secured. Mangal refuses, saying she already has children to raise and cannot think about marriage. Shanti, frustrated, lashes out at her, accusing Mangal of always listening to Kusum but never to her. As tensions rise, Shanti suddenly collapses, leaving Mangal panicked and deeply worried.
Meanwhile, Sowmya is excited to spend some alone time with Adit, assuming Kusum and the rest will be out for at least two hours.
Back on the street, Mangal desperately tries to find a cab or auto to rush Shanti to the hospital, but no one stops. Just then, Adit passes by and immediately comes to help. Mangal tells him Shanti needs urgent medical attention. Without hesitation, Adit takes them to the hospital.
At home, the doorbell rings. Thinking it’s Adit, Sowmya closes her eyes and opens the door—only to find Kusum standing there. Kusum questions her revealing outfit. Embarrassed, Sowmya says she thought they would be gone longer. Kusum explains they returned early because the doctor wasn’t available. She and Sudesh enter, while Sowmya silently wonders where Adit is.
At the hospital, Adit and Mangal get Shanti admitted. The doctor immediately begins examining her.
Mangal thanks Adit for his timely help, saying no one else stopped to help. Adit reassures her, saying Shanti is strong—just like Mangal—and she will recover.
Soon, the doctor returns with a grim diagnosis: Shanti has 70% blockage in her heart and requires immediate open-heart surgery. He hands over a form outlining the procedure. Mangal is shocked to see the surgery costs ₹8 lakhs and worries about how to arrange the money.
Back at home, Sowmya repeatedly calls Adit, but he doesn’t answer.
Elsewhere, Pratima grows anxious, wondering why Shanti hasn’t called her.
At the hospital, Mangal checks her savings and realizes she only has ₹3 lakhs. Overwhelmed with worry, she wonders how to arrange the remaining amount. Just then, Lipika arrives. Seeing Shanti hospitalized, she breaks down and blames herself for her grandmother’s condition.
Pratima calls Shanti’s phone, and Mangal answers. Thinking it’s Shanti, Pratima begins talking about a wedding proposal. Mangal, distracted, sees the doctor and asks for an update. The doctor says they can’t comment on Shanti’s condition yet and walks away. Mangal returns to the call and asks Pratima which proposal she’s referring to. Pratima says she wants to speak directly to Shanti. Mangal reveals that Shanti has suffered a heart attack and is in the hospital. A shocked Pratima immediately informs Kapil.
Later, the doctor informs Mangal that Shanti’s condition is deteriorating and the surgery cannot be postponed. Mangal tells the nurse she only has ₹3 lakhs but pleads with her to go ahead with the operation—promising to arrange the rest. To her surprise, the nurse says the full payment has already been made. Stunned, Mangal asks who paid. The nurse replies that the person must be nearby, as the payment was made just moments ago.
Mangal rushes to the reception area. She spots Adit nearby, holding a bundle of cash, disappointed that it’s all he could gather. Just then, she sees Kapil collecting the payment receipt. Realizing he was the one who covered the cost, Mangal walks up and thanks him. Kapil gently wipes her tears and assures her that she’s not alone—he will always be there for her.
From a distance, Adit silently watches the emotional moment unfold.
