The episode opens with Kapil calling Monisha, telling her he wants to speak with her. Overjoyed, Monisha reminds him that he has been thrown out of his house and warns that Mangal wouldn’t like him talking to her. Kapil, however, says he has realized Mangal is not right for him and no one can ever take Monisha’s place. He declares he no longer loves Mangal and is breaking off their marriage. If Monisha still has feelings for him, he asks her to meet him on the terrace where they first met, as he wants to reconcile. Ecstatic, Monisha agrees and ends the call, thinking to herself that she always believed he would value her one day — and now that day has come, since Mangal is out of his life.
Kapil then turns to find Mangal standing there. A flashback shows how Mangal had signaled him earlier that Monisha was watching them, prompting Kapil to fake the breakup. Kapil tells Mangal that Monisha won’t leave him easily. Mangal replies they should go ahead with their plan and assures him that she will call the police to the spot, after which everything will be fine. Kapil agrees.
Meanwhile, Adit suspects Monisha has gone missing to trap him. He vows not to spare her and storms out of the house. Kusum overhears and wonders if Adit’s words were aimed at Kapil.
Monisha gets ready and drives to meet Kapil, unaware that Adit is secretly following her. Kapil and Mangal also reach the location. Mangal gives Kapil a Bluetooth device and reassures him that she will remain hidden while calling the police. As she goes to hide, part of her saree tears and gets caught on a car. Kapil heads to the terrace. When Monisha arrives, she spots Kapil’s car and assumes he came early to meet her. As she steps out, she notices the torn piece of saree and instantly recognizes it as Mangal’s. Suspicious, she borrows a passerby’s phone and calls Pratima, pretending to be the mehendi wali. To her shock, she learns that Kapil and Mangal’s wedding has not been canceled. Furious, Monisha realizes Kapil has deceived her.
From his car, Adit watches as Monisha takes out a photo of herself with Kapil. Heartbroken, she burns it and declares Kapil has betrayed her. She then pulls out a knife, vowing to make him face her hatred. Alarmed, Adit realizes Monisha has become dangerous and decides to stop her.
On the terrace, Kapil asks Mangal if Monisha has arrived, but she says no. Just then, Kusum calls Mangal, worried. She tells her that Adit left home angrily, saying “Main tumhe chodungi nahi,” and fears he meant it for Kapil. Mangal comforts her, promising she will return with Adit safely. Still anxious, Kusum prays to Maata Rani, but when the diya suddenly extinguishes, she grows uneasy and decides to go to Mangal immediately.
Meanwhile, Adit tries to warn Kapil by calling him, but his phone is switched off. Determined, Adit takes the elevator to the terrace. At the same time, Monisha reaches the terrace and sees Kapil. Just then, Pratima calls Kapil, and he steps aside to take the call. Seizing the moment, Adit intercepts Monisha, stopping her from approaching Kapil with the knife. He demands to know her intentions. Monisha accuses him of siding with Mangal and rages that Kapil betrayed her, vowing not to spare him. Adit tries to snatch the knife away, leading to a fierce scuffle between them.
