The episode begins with Jia announcing to the Kapoor family that she and Krish are getting married. Karan congratulates Krish on the news.
Lakshmi, however, claims that Krish and Jia are lying and insists that the photo is fake. Jia responds sharply, asking Lakshmi to stop planting doubts in Karan’s mind. Karan reassures Jia that he trusts them and is happy for the couple.
Krish questions Jia, asking if she has lost her mind and when he ever proposed to her. Jia explains that she is simply managing the situation. She reminds him that Lakshmi overheard their conversation and might expose them, so she had to take drastic action to end Lakshmi’s game. Krish asks what they will do if Lakshmi tries to stop their marriage. Jia confidently replies that even after marriage, nothing will change between them and their goal remains the same.
Lakshmi realizes she needs to be cautious around Krish and Jia. Karan approaches her for help with wearing his dhoti. Lakshmi teases him while helping, and Karan flirts back. Later, he asks Lakshmi to bless Krish and Jia.
During the wedding rituals, Jia stops the priest and asks Dadi to let Lakshmi perform a ritual from her side, where the sister-in-law must wash the bride’s feet. She insists it would feel inauspicious to skip it. Karan also requests Lakshmi, who agrees.
Lakshmi brings hot water to wash Jia’s feet, causing Jia to burn herself. Jia accuses Lakshmi of doing it intentionally. Lakshmi then demonstrates with another steel pot that the water is cold, and Karan supports her. Lakshmi warns Jia that such accidents happen when someone tries to play dirty tricks and asks if she wants her feet washed again, but Jia refuses.
Krish and Jia are eventually married. During the Griha Pravesh ritual, Jia suggests performing it together, citing that Lakshmi couldn’t do it properly before. Dadi agrees. Lakshmi brings another sindoor ki thaal, unaware that Jia has secretly mixed glass shards into it.
Lakshmi senses something is off and suggests that Jia perform the ritual alone since it is her special day. Dadi agrees. Jia steps into the kalash with her feet, suppresses the pain from the shards, and completes the ritual.
