The episode begins with Lakshmi vowing to uncover Karthik’s killer. She tries to escape from the locked room, breaks the glass window, and unlocks the door. Using all the cloth she can find, she makes a rope and climbs out through the window, determined to take revenge for Karthik.
Karan assures Barkha that he will track down Karthik’s murderer and punish them before leaving.
Barkha, however, worries that Karan might suspect her. She decides she must make sure no one discovers that she is the one who killed Karthik.
Lakshmi reaches the jungle in search of clues. She overhears two police officers discussing the case—someone had called Karthik to that spot, stabbed him, and pushed him off the cliff. They reveal that Lakshmi’s fingerprints were found on the knife and that she is now their prime suspect. Terrified, Lakshmi hides under a patch of grass and resolves to find Karthik’s phone to learn who contacted him.
Meanwhile, Barkha burns Karthik’s phone to destroy evidence of her messages and calls, believing Lakshmi will be blamed and jailed for the murder.
Karan and Manny reach the room and discover Lakshmi has escaped. Manny assumes she ran away, but Karan insists Lakshmi would never flee. He says she must be searching for Karthik’s killer and claims he knows where she is. The two head out to look for her.
Lakshmi then checks Karthik’s room for clues. Hearing footsteps, she hides inside the cupboard. Karan and Manny enter and find the room empty. Manny asks Karan if he killed Karthik. Shocked, Karan asks why he would think that. Manny reminds him that he forced Karthik to marry Barkha by using Karthik’s father—implying he could go even further.
Lakshmi emerges from the cupboard and attacks Karan, convinced he murdered Karthik. Karan stops her and insists he had no part in Karthik’s death. He admits he forced the marriage for Barkha’s happiness but promises he will find the real culprit and bring them before her. Lakshmi refuses to trust him and says she will uncover the truth herself. When Karan tries to stop her, she bites his hand, escapes, and locks the door. Manny warns Karan that Lakshmi’s behaviour is becoming dangerous and urges him to be cautious. Karan hopes she doesn’t get into more trouble.
Later, Swetha introduces Santosh from the IT department to Lakshmi. She asks him to trace a phone number, and Santosh says he will try. He immediately informs Barkha that Lakshmi asked him to trace her number but assures her he did not reveal anything. Barkha instructs Santosh to carry out her plan, and he agrees.
Santosh calls Lakshmi and asks her to meet him on the highway to get the information. Lakshmi goes there, only for the police to arrive and arrest her for Karthik’s murder. Barkha watches from her car with a smirk. Lakshmi insists she is innocent and being framed, but the police ignore her pleas.
Barkha applauds Santosh for his work, pays him, and asks him to complete the next task too. Santosh agrees. Barkha thinks that with Lakshmi gone, her brother Karan will finally be free.
Manny informs Karan about Lakshmi’s arrest. Karan says they must arrange her bail immediately. Manny questions why he cares so much. Karan replies that Lakshmi is now Mrs. Lakshmi Karan Kapoor, and saving her is necessary to protect his reputation. He rushes out.
Barkha then sabotages the police jeep by leaking fuel, causing it to explode while Lakshmi is being transported. Watching the fire, Barkha says that Karthik is gone and now it is Lakshmi’s turn. Karan arrives just in time to witness the jeep exploding in front of him.
