The episode begins with Arohi assuring Anuradha that she will never separate Abhishek from her. She promises to fulfill all the duties of a daughter-in-law and insists she won’t be a burden on Abhishek, nor will he end up as just her caretaker. Bua questions her intentions, asking if she is doing this out of love for Abhishek or for money. Arohi clarifies that she is not greedy and understands Bua’s concerns. Abhishek then says he will take Arohi to their room, but Kailash interrupts, reminding them that only filling her hairline with vermilion doesn’t make it a marriage. The family hasn’t accepted her as their daughter-in-law yet, so how can she stay with his son in the same room?
Arohi calmly replies that she will stay in whichever room they assign her. Bua declares that until the family accepts her, she is only a guest of the house and should stay in a guest room, which is on the first floor. Nikhil mocks her, saying she has neither the legs nor the wings to go there. Abhishek firmly responds that he will be both the legs and wings for his wife.
Abhishek warns his family never to humiliate Arohi again. Carrying her in his arms, he takes her to the guest room. Arohi thanks him for supporting her. When he asks why she agreed to stay there instead of refusing, she says this is her only chance to be in the house and win everyone’s hearts. Abhishek assures her of his constant support and tells her to rest, calling it the start of their new journey.
Later, Bua questions Anuradha about her sudden change in behavior, saying she used to be an obedient housewife. Anuradha replies that she only followed the family rules for their sake. Bua expresses hope she will continue to do so and instructs the servants to prepare for the muh dikhai ceremony.
Abhishek brings a mattress to the guest room, prompting Kailash to ask what he’s doing. Abhishek explains that since his wife has been pushed into a guest room and forced to live separately, he will stay close to her like this. Arohi overhears and feels upset, but Abhishek consoles her, and the two share some lighthearted moments together.
When Anuradha asks Arohi to get ready for the rituals, Abhishek objects, reminding her that the family refused to accept Arohi yesterday. He questions how they can now suddenly expect her to perform the rituals, especially after her recent heart surgery and sleepless night. Anuradha says she is not forcing her and gives her the choice. Arohi, however, decides to change and take part.
Later, Kailash notices Arohi struggling to walk downstairs. Abhishek carries her down, impressing Sarada and Raja Ram, who praise him. Anuradha then asks them to give their gifts, explaining the ritual rules. Kailash humiliates Arohi’s family background, and Kanika mocks their gifts. While Anuradha supports them, Abhishek firmly defends his in-laws, saying he won’t allow their humiliation. Anuradha retorts that she has already told Arohi she is free to leave if she cannot accept their treatment.
