The episode starts with Shalini asking Chintu to switch on the water motor. Chintu asks Ganesh to do it, but Ganesh says the motor has burned out. They will have to fetch water using a pipe instead.
Shalini complains to the children that their father is not at home, so she has to carry water herself. As she steps outside with a bucket, she is shocked to see Karan Kulkarni standing in front of her house. Aaradhya and Kabir are with him.
Shalini asks why they have come. Aaradhya sarcastically says she heard the motor is damaged, so Shalini now has to fetch water from outside.
Aaradhya mocks Shalini for living in poverty. She reminds her that she once had a luxurious life with servants to do all the household work. She looks down on Shalini’s current lifestyle.
Karan tells Aaradhya not to make fun of her. He says Shalini may be happy with her simple life. Shalini again asks why they are at her house.
Karan replies that they are her guests and expects her to cook breakfast for them. Kabir says Karan insisted on having breakfast prepared by Shalini instead of eating at a five-star hotel.
Shalini grows suspicious of their intentions. She says they are dangerous people and worries about her children’s safety.
Kabir says they came only because Karan wanted to taste Shalini’s cooking. He asks why she is doubting them and jokes that perhaps she has nothing to serve.
Just then, Shivprasad arrives carrying a bag of vegetables. He tells Shalini to prepare breakfast for the guests. He says he saw the imported car outside and guessed that Karan Kulkarni had come.
Karan is surprised and asks how he knew. Shivprasad calmly replies that he owns nine imported cars himself, so he can easily recognize them. When Karan asks for more details, Shivprasad refuses to explain further.
Karan then says they should first taste Shalini’s cooking before praising it. He suddenly asks Shivprasad if he bought green chilies and 250 grams of ladyfinger from the market. Shalini is left confused.
Karan snatches the vegetable bag and empties it onto the ground. He is surprised to find one kilogram of ladyfinger instead of 250 grams.
Shivprasad smiles and says Karan guessed the green chilies correctly, but he bought one kilogram of ladyfinger. Karan remarks that Shivprasad does not seem like an ordinary commission agent and questions him about his real identity.
Shivprasad simply insists that he is a commission agent. Karan leaves, still suspicious.
After he leaves, Shalini admits she does not understand what just happened. Shivprasad says he knew Karan would come to investigate. He believes Karan must have heard the vegetable seller call him by name.
Elsewhere, Manish stops Nandini on her way and asks her not to go to court. Nandini argues with him.
Malhar scolds Nandini for disrespecting him. Nandini replies that he is always against her sister, so he does not deserve her respect.
Manish asks Nandini to withdraw the case, but she refuses. She says Kabir must be sent to jail for his crime.
Boomika overhears Malhar taunting Nandini. Upset by his behavior, she defends Nandini and argues with him.
Later, Karan visits the vegetable market to investigate Shivprasad and uncover the truth about him.
